Baaaaa!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There’s many things I 💕 about working at @gaynespark, but nothing beats it in the Spring when there are some extra cute guests 😉
So when wedding season is quiet I tend to find a project at home to keep me busy. This year it’s been revamping our bathroom! Completely forgot to take a decent before photo, so nabbed the one from when we were featured in Your Home magazine (keep swiping to see it!). It wasn’t too bad before but the shower was so manky they didn’t photograph it! 🙈 We had a new shower fitted and new wall and floor tiles. Plus a quick paint job. Now I just keep wandering in and out of here, it’s my favourite room in the house!
//PERFECTLY PLANNED\\ Did you know I wrote a book last year? This planner came together after planning my own wedding day and all the things we encountered along the way. It’s a workbook that you can scribble all over, fill with your suppliers and the many wedding ideas that you need to get down on paper! I’m terrible at promoting it, but those who have grabbed one so far have found them mega useful and they also become a great keepsake to look back on once it’s all said and done. If you’re more of a spreadsheet fan, there is also a free download included to track your budget and guest list via excel. I only have a few copies left now, and once mine go I’ll switch to selling via amazon, so have a click through if you’ve been looking for something to keep track of your plans. To those of you with one already let me know what you’ve found most useful with yours below! ⬇️
I hope you all enjoy your morning greeting from Tagg 😂. Today I was reminded by Facebook that it’s been four years since we moved to Manningtree, and my favourite thing about living here is still the morning walks this little corner of the world spoils me with. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m still grumpy when I get out of bed (I’ll never be a morning person!) and I rarely manage to brush my hair before I’m pulling on my coat and boots (unlike this photo thanks @heelshorseshoes) but about 10 minutes in I’m pleased* to be out there with my pup surrounded by nature. And thankful to be self employed! What’s the ideal start to your day? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ *Ok maybe not when it’s raining ☔️ 😉
//WEDDING SEASON\\ Is finally here!! Winter break this year has felt SO long! So I was very happy to be back out shooting last week at one of my favourites (@gaynespark). These two had the most laid back day, full of gorgeous floral goodness from @violetsandvelvet There were happy tears from all directions and smiles for miles. The perfect way to start the 2019 wedding season. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Head over to my blog to see some more (link in bio) and leave these two some💕 love 💕 below ⬇️
Forever thankful to florists who not only make incredible bouquets but who make them so they stand up their own 😍 @violetsandvelvet thank you! 🙌 and this did smell as good as it looked!!!
//ONE WEEK TO GO!\\ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This time next week Kirsten and George will be married and I’ll be in the throes of my first wedding of the year! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Can’t wait to kick the season off with these two, and even better is that Kirsten (a photographer herself!) is going to be joining me as a second shooter at a couple of weddings later this year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Roll on next week!! 📷📷📷
