It's not lack of motivation... It's not laziness... It's not the government either... 😂 It's sacrificing GREAT for "good enough" that's keeping most people stuck and unhappy. It's accepting mediocrity... "I'm doing fine. " "My health is okay." "My relationship is good." ... I'm sure that most people, when asked, say that they want more from life. They want to be/do/have more. If they want more, how come most are not doing anything to get it? The answer is simple - lack of clarity and willingness to look for challenges. Unfortunately, we're not taught in school how to live our best life. We're taught how to pass tests and get a job. And I know very few people who are truly fulfilled, when following that path. Imagine having to say to your child, "Sorry, honey, you could've had it all, but mommy/daddy was too afraid to face her/his mediocrity and challenge herself/himself." It's good to be grateful for what you've got, but contentment breeds complacency and complacency leads to mediocrity. Looking for a challenge? DM "CHANGE". Stay optimized!
Looking to create the life that's different from the one that you're living now? There's a very predictable path to getting what you want. I remember feeling lost and not knowing where to start my personal development journey. My parents or anyone else in my network weren't entrepreneurs. They weren't meditating. They've never heard of breathwork. They weren't millionaires. But I wanted the success that was beyond my immediate circle... So I started looking for people who have figured out more than I have. And learned everything that they had to teach. It's that simple! Need some support? Message me to get 1-1 coaching or join the Spiritual Hustlers Club. @the_yogi_lab
Have you ever considered that success is the matter of standards, not abilities? As my man @juvanlangford recently said, "Too many are able. Too few are willing." We look for reasons why we can't accomplish something. We diminish ourselves because our environment tells us to do so. We stay in our lane because we feel like our family determines how much we can accomplish. As Roger Hamilton wrote, “The life we live is not determined by the life we want to live tomorrow, but by the life we settle for today. We settle for our standards.” Transcend the arbitrary limitations. Surround yourself with winners. Ask for support from people who are ahead of you! Stay optimized!
1000 consecutive days of meditation 🧘🏼♂️ Definitely openly proud of this one. Not because it was perfect in any shape or form. Sometimes it was a few minutes before meals or 5 minutes after a workout. I'm proud because ordinary things consistently done produce extraordinary results. And here's what it's given me: - Ability to detach from any outcomes and simply enjoy the process - Leveled head and inner peace - Enhanced mental clarity - Ability to feel more deeply ... The benefits have been endless. It's been my anchor for the past few years. I still remember how I discovered meditation my freshman year in college... Thanks to online advertising lol! I remember referring to it as "getting high without any external substances". Grateful for the development of my meditation practice and @meditationdave for introducing me to the most powerful meditation practice. If you don't know where to start, Vipassanaonline.com is amazing. If it's not meditation, what's your anchor? 😊
An amazing woman battling multiple cancers at the same time said, "You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy". That really hit me hard. Most of us live our lives following the formula "I'll be happy when <...>" Happiness is not conditional. It's not external. It's all within. Too many people have voiced their regrets of not figuring this out early. Let's learn from their mistakes. Do you keep delaying your happiness? I have a great network of coaches who can help you inject purpose and fulfillment back into your life. Just shoot me a DM and start your week strong! Happy Monday 🙏🏼❤️
Yesterday I was truly humbled and reminded of how fortunate I am. It's easy to forget the world around you when you're in the thick of your life, isn't it? Yet, it's so heart opening to zoom out and look beyond yourself. We visited the charity organization that's supporting abandoned and/or abused children. The kids there were physically and sexually abused and rescued from the streets. One of the girls was sold to a human trafficking organization by her own father 💔 Needless to say, these children have gone through more trauma than most of us ever will. Thank you @balistreetmums_project for this opportunity to connect and find ways to support the kids. You can donate to this beautiful organization in my bio.
