A Mother’s Day Prayer ⋯ Today we thank You for the gift of Mothers. ⋯ We pray for the expectant Mothers. We ask You to bless their pregnancy. Give them peace as they anticipate the coming days. Give them strength and courage as they bring their babies into the world. Watch over them and protect them. ⋯ Bring encouragement to new Mothers. Give them patience. Allow them to see these foggy days for that they are - difficult, but fleeting. Let them experience joy in this season. Be with them as they navigate the surges of hormones and mental battles they may be facing. Protect their hearts. We lift them up today. ⋯ Be with the Mothers in the trenches. Guide them as they make decisions and do their best. Give them confidence and assurance in their Motherhood. Free them from the burdens that weigh them down, and let them experience abundance. ⋯ Draw near to the ones who are grieving a loss. Be it the loss of a child, the loss of a Mother, or the loss of the dream of becoming a Mother. Hold them in Your arms and help them stand. Comfort their minds and bring your perfect peace into their hearts. ⋯ For those who have strained relationships in Motherhood, we pray for resolution, acceptance, and healthy boundaries. For those who are experiencing joy and happiness in Motherhood, we thank You for your abundant blessings. ⋯ Whatever your situation, may you feel special and so very loved today. ♡
The greatest Mothers Day gift of all — getting a semi-decent photo with your kids 😅😂
When you choose to follow a small business, like posts, comment, tag your friends, or share in your stories, you are doing more than just that. You’re boosting engagement so that business can reach new customers. You’re encouraging someone who may be wondering if people like the content they’re working hard to create. And most importantly, you’re supporting a small business with a big dream. I think I can speak for @maryfrances_carter and @michelleboyd_studio when I say that we are SO SO grateful for every interaction we receive on this platform. Thank you for supporting us! - There’s just a few hours left to enter in our joint giveaway (ends tonight, Thursday May 9th at midnight CST). If you haven’t entered yet make sure you do soon! The winner is going to win some special things made with a lot of love! ♡
There’s some exciting things in the works for tomorrow! Sitting here getting some work done and looking at our calendar for the next month. We’ve got a busy month but a lot of fun things planned (both in Preserve and in our personal life!). I also realized today I haven’t shared much of my workspace. Should I do a little “office” tour?
What affirmations are you speaking to yourself today? I’ll never forget what my dear friend @inspiredbybirths said to me when I was pregnant with my first child. I was nervous and a bit fearful about the birth process. She said to me “Lucy, your body was made for this”. What she said has always stuck with me, and throughout the remainder of that pregnancy and my next, I focused on that truth. - I think that those wise words can be applied to much more than just childbirth. They can be applied to Motherhood, life, even starting a business! God gives us what we need to handle each day (and thank Him for that), and we were made to live the life we’ve been blessed with. - Motherhood, pregnancy, childbirth, marriage, friendships, life, business — all those things can bring up fears and doubts. What if I can’t do it? What if I’m doing it wrong? What if I’m just not cut out for this? - Whatever you’re facing and whatever challenge is ahead of you, know that you were made for this, and go boldly. ✨
With Mothers Day just around the corner, you’ve probably been thinking about how you want to celebrate this year and what traditions to embrace as a family. - Our entire brand has been built around providing the answer to these two questions: how can we celebrate intentionally and create lasting meaningful family traditions❓The answer is simple — a Celebration Journal! - If you’re new here, a Celebration Journal is a book made to record all the sentiments your children would otherwise say in a greeting card. Instead of buying a card, your child decorates or writes on a page in the Journal. Over the years you’ll be able to see how the relationship with your child has grown, and you’ll always have the special memories in one safe place. - The Journal isn’t just a blank book - it is designed to help you record the details that matter most to you, and even includes prompts in case you need a little help getting started! We know you’ll love the heirloom quality and beautifully designed pages. - Using a Celebration Journal has simplified our family traditions and become one of the most cherished items in our home. It is our hope that it becomes the same for you.💕
⬆️ Double tap if you’re loving these colors! - If you pre-ordered a Journal on @kickstarter you should have received an email yesterday asking for your shipping info & color selection(s). I got a few questions about what the oatmeal and forest Journals will actually look like in real life and to be completely honest, I’m just as excited as you are to see them up close and in person! These two little swatches are all I have right now, plus the vision I have in my head, which guides all my design decisions! We’ve been in contact with our supplier and are having samples made of our two new colors, so hopefully I’ll be able to share more IRL pictures soon. 🙌🏻
This is the face of someone who just got an email from @kickstarter saying that the project she’s been working on for over a year and a half is officially over AND successfully funded! - I honestly feel like I just got done running a marathon. And truly it has been. There have been highs and lows. It hasn’t been a sprint, it’s been a slow and steady grind that has required determination and perseverance. But you know what? We made it! - When I say “we”, I mean YOU and me. We did this together, you and I. You helped, shared, encouraged, shared some more, supported, pledged, liked, commented, rallied, and cheered. It’s because of you that this was possible, and for all of that and more, I want to say thank YOU. - Going forward, there is much work to be done. The next steps require careful thought and I’ll be communicating all of that to you soon. But for now, I’m celebrating this WIN (and also my husband Paden’s birthday, because that’s today too 🎉) I hope you’ll take a minute today to celebrate with me! We did it! ✨
“I must have flowers, always, and always”. — Claude Monet. (Also, me.🙋🏻♀️😂) Anyone else have flowers as their love language?
Monday goals! ✨ Which one do you struggle with the most? (I ask, as I look at my glass of water that is untouched from earlier this morning 🙃)
