🌲TREE FARM SIGNATURE SESSIONS🌲 Booking is open and spots are already filling up! Join me for our fifth year at the Medina Christmas Tree Farm where all of the merry magic happens. To book follow the link in my bio. With each session a tree is purchased that is then sent to a troop or their family. Our military men and women sacrifice so much, it's the least we can do to show our support and send a smidge of love their way at the holidays. Share with your friends, your family, your coworkers and your neighbor's niece! Help me to send more trees than we ever have before.
Little + pretty among these tall beauties
I've been silent the last month and here is why... On August 16 we welcomed 7lb 12oz Gabriela earthside and life has been bliss! We have been savoring these first weeks with her and enjoying time spent with family and close friends. She's been the MOST incredible addition to our house! If I were a better creative entrepreneur I would have had posts prepared and scheduled to be posted in this time, but I didn't. And to be honest, I've loved being off the business grid for the most part and enjoying all of this time with her. Soon I will post about our birth, how we chose her name and how life has been with our first babe! Name and month plates by @louandlynndesigns 🌿
Friday Introductions! I never, ever do these. Not because I don't want to, I just don't take the time to sit down and talk about myself. But here goes! I'm married to the most awesome tall man, Kyle. We met in college, not at the same college though, and have been together 10 years, married for almost 5. We have a crazy dog named Hansi, who we adopted as a puppy 4 years ago and soon will be expecting our first baby, a girl! Kyle and I both grew up in German households and thus are very invested in our German heritage, so much so that we vacation there about every two years and have been involved in German dance groups since we could walk. With that, let's talk about my name. It is pronounced like Christina, (with an A), but spelled like Christine. This too takes us back to the German component. Once upon a time when I had free-time I loved to paint and read stacks of books and even write occasionally. These days I'm pretty happy if I have time to catch an episode of something on my Roku and skim a few pages from a novel. We love to travel and spend time with our friends, both near and far, and somehow now with a baby on the way I'm finding home to be lovelier and lovelier. Isn't that called nesting? Onto photography...my Oma, (grandmother), instilled in me the importance of what a photograph means; what it does for you; how it preserves ties to the past and moments. She always had a camera in our faces, was constantly filling albums and pulling out those from the olden days to show us. This crept into my soul I'd like to think, and got me started on my own road to loving photography. As many photographers tell, my hobby grew into a career and here I am today! Signature Sunflower Sessions will be here before you know it! I may be a nutball, but we are having a baby sometime between today and next Friday and these sessions will be happening a few weeks later 😜 Crazy? Probably. But! I can't imagine not getting out to the fields. I can't imagine not supporting the foundation and I really can't imagine keeping my clients away! I'm loving all of the support and bookings we have received so far and am excited to get a crew out there again this year.
Mom and Dad brought the fire during this family session! 🔥🔥🔥
