Anger is an emotion characterized by antagonism toward someone or something you feel has deliberately done you wrong. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anger can be a good thing. It can give you a way to express negative feelings, for example, or motivate you to find solutions to problems.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But excessive anger can cause problems. Increased blood pressure and other physical changes associated with anger make it difficult to think straight and harm your physical and mental health.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I invite you to explore the emotion of anger when you feeling it. This can give you valuable information that maybe you haven't noticed yet, or maybe it will shed a different light.

Pain courses through your entire body and your heart feel like it's on fire and ice-cold at the same time. Maybe you can't stop crying, or maybe you're so depressed you find it hard to get out of bed and motivate yourself to do anything at all. You're consumed with an overwhelming, constant feeling of intense loss and longing, and you just can't stop thinking about the person that's gone.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The end of a relationship is one of the most difficult things we go through as humans, and there is a reason why it is so hard, it is because we lose ALOT more than just the person. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Once we are aware of ALL we are losing, it may make it a little easier to take steps towards healing.

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm, and stable state. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We don't need any special tools, training, or beliefs. We simply need ourselves and that is what I love most about meditation. I am curious, do you meditate, and if you do, what does your practice look like?

Self-love wasn't something that I understood until a young adult, as I was battling with depression and my therapist asked what I loved about myself? And I had no response. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Not only did I not know what I loved about myself, but I didn't understand what self-love was. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Before a person is able to practice it, first we need to understand what it means.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Self-love is a state of appreciation for oneself that grows from actions that support our physical, psychological, and spiritual growth. Self-love means having a high regard for your own well-being and happiness. Self-love means taking care of your own needs and not sacrificing your well-being to please others. Self-love means not settling for less than you deserve.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Self-love can mean something different for each person because we all have many different ways to take care of ourselves. Figuring out what self-love looks like for you as an individual is an important part of your mental health.
