What started off as allergies turned into a cold which, turned into an infection...and I’ll be honest, after two weeks, it’s been frustrating! Ugh! . I’ve been itching to go to the gym. I’ve been so ready to start scheduling interviews and record my new podcast. I really wanted to go to a local arts festival and farmers market with Matt this past weekend. The more I resisted my body’s call for help, the worse it got. I’ve finally surrendered to let my body feel and heal. Being sick has finally let my body’s message get through that I need to be taking better care of myself. . Sometimes plans change, which is hard for me as a planner, but it’s allowed me to rest and realign my focus. And while it’s frustrating, it feels so good. I’m ready to heal and for now I will rest. ☕️ In the meantime, anyone have any sick day tips, food or drink suggestions, etc. that they recommend? . 📷: @elena_sloup who took this beautiful photo for my brand! ✨
Falling more and more in love with my business pivot every day! Since I’ve had a cold for over a week I’ve had a lot of time to deep dive into my services and my website. Which makes it so easy to obsess over the details. . When I begin to notice I’m obsessing a little too much, that’s when I know to breathe, remember that perfection is a unicorn 🦄, and take a break and come back to the project with a clear head! My favorite break activity - go for a walk and listen to a podcast 🎙 What’s yours?
Sneak peak at the most BEAUTIFUL logo design by @justlikewhitecreative! Hand-lettered logos are my absolute favorite 😍 . As many of you know I’m transitioning into business and life coaching and this new logo fits perfectly with the direction I am going! 💕 I am so excited to be offering 1:1 coaching, a mastermind, VIP Intensives, and hopefully soon an online course! Oh, and the podcast -that’s going to be a thing too 😉 I can’t wait to show you the entire revamp of my website and services! Stay tuneeeeddd!
I’v been reading and studying a lot about mindset and gratitude lately as I prepare to launch my coaching business. Each day I journal, but before I do, I write down three things I am grateful for. Why? Because studies show its impact it has on your mood, health, and relationships. Each day, @mattilew, always without hesitation is on my gratitude list. . Rather than focus on what other couples are doing on social media, we put our blinders on and focus on being grateful for each other. Rather being scared of “what if’s” I flip the script and try to focus how grateful I am that I get to talk to him every day. That I get to hold his hand. That at the end of the absolute worst days we have each other. When we feel gratitude, it’s hard to feel any other emotion...stress, anxiety, jealously, sadness, it all melts away. Express gratitude today and every day. It’s amazing how it can change your life. ✨ I love you Matt and everything that you have been, are, and will be! 💕 . PS also showing gratitude for @chantellrae for always capturing flawless portraits! 📷✨
