Ever wonder how your life would be if you hadn’t met your person. This came up in a conversation with my clients a few days ago at their engagement session. She said if she hadn't mentioned someone in their conversation, they probably would have not been together. That just got me thinking about the journey you all have been on to finally get married with your partner. It might have been tough and long (for some), but you have found your life partner and that’s one of the most amazing things ever!

A bit of magic to brighten up your Friday morning! These two came from Florida to visit family and take their engagement photos!! I’m seriously still obsessed with this session and location!

During the wedding consultation Madeline and I discussed possible engagement session locations, and we ended up with Yosemite. At first, we didn’t know if it was going to be possible since the only way to the park was to get a permit and those always went by fast. But we did it and took some rad photos there. Their engagement session was amazing and the view was breathtaking. Seriously cannot wait for their wedding this year!!

Hey y’all. So it’s been a while since I’ve done an intro post so I wanted to share a few facts about me!! -I am a mom to the best baby and three amazing crazy dogs -I love being outdoors (although I haven’t been out much recently) -I’m a morning person and 99% of the time wake up happy even if I had little to no sleep -I pick out the M&Ms first whenever I am eating trail mix -I hate scary movies. I’m not about that paranoid life. Taken by @melaneysotelophotography edited by me

I know it’s cheesy - but I love what I do! I get to document people in love. I help to preserve the moments they are going to have for generations. They trust me to capture their wedding day beautifully as it unfolds. I’m just so freaking grateful.

If you’re looking for me this weekend, I’ll be working because there’s no rest for the self-employed. Am I right?

To have a first look or not have a first look, that is the question: whether it is better to be traditional and see your partner walk down the aisle or see them for the first time privately. Okay so I get this question a lot so I compiled a list on some pros for doing a first look: 1️⃣ It calms your nerves 2️⃣You get to spend more time alone together 3️⃣You get more pictures 4️⃣ Less stress Get the detailed version of this on my blog. Link in bio.

It’s amazing how editing an image black and white can change the way one sees it.

Want to hear the story behind this image? The officiant forgot to mention the ring exchange and it wasn’t until the wedding party left the ceremony area that they realized it. This couple was so chill, they decided to exchange it in the venue's office. Weddings don’t always go according to plan so just remember it’s about you two getting married. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Still one of my favorite weddings I have had the pleasure to be a part of @michellesobelphoto

I have so many sessions I haven’t blogged or posted and I don’t know why. I told myself I was going to change and share them with all of you.
