  • My first article for The Daley Dose is live! I wrote about the 4 skincare products I’d pay for out-of-pocket! Hint, hint —> @aveneusa @paulaschoice @pcaskin @trilogyusa. Link is in my bio!

  • The website of my dreams is finally a reality! Thanks to the incredible work done by @jessgingrichcreative , I now have a beautiful space to not only highlight my past work, but also educate future clients on the different types of services I can offer.

Along with my portfolio website, I’m also launching my new blog called The Daley Dose! I’ve been writing down blog post ideas for this site for around 5 years now, and I’ve finally had the time (and the courage!) to get it up and running. Stay tuned for my first post coming soon.

The past year and a half of freelancing has been incredibly rewarding in so many ways. I’ve written for publications I NEVER thought I’d see my name on. Publications I was convinced I wasn’t smart enough to write for, or funny enough, or whichever “not enough” feeling I’d come up with.

Freelancing and being my own boss has given me so many gifts, but the most notable one, the one I’ve been slowly unwrapping, is the gift of confidence. When you’re your own boss, you have no other choice but to stick up for yourself, your services and your business. Perhaps it’s just aging and more experience, but since the beginning of freelancing, I barely recognize the young magazine editor who was afraid to speak up in meetings, afraid my ideas weren’t good enough, afraid my writing was terrible, afraid of...everything.

Fear is not an option when you’re a freelancer. I’m no longer afraid of showcasing my skills and expertise, and I hope you can see that in my new portfolio and blog.

A special thanks to @lavieestjessiebelle , @angelajiakim , @theresamassony , @makeupmaestra , @lcolameo , and @arf521 for your incredibly kind words about working with me!
