This winter was short for me yet filled with lovers. I am lucky enough than in the nicest day of January when the sun peeked out and fresh snow was on the ground, I was out walking around trees with this couple madly in love. ( These are the times I love the snow, when is shiny and fresh, and just enough that you don't have to shovel it) Kate and Houston, I CAN’T wait for your snowy wedding next year ❄️🥰

This space means to me so much more personal than a portfolio. Is a space of growth and open heart talks. A space to celebrate life in all its forms. It has been a month of my mom passing away so it has been a month I haven’t posted content. Pretending life goes on when it feels like it doesn’t is not how I do things. I am learning to let go and hug on to the memories and the love. I have found an inmense refuge in photos. while recent photos hurt too much older photos allow me to think about her life and our life fondly. I talk with my dad and brothers about their life stories. Is a mixed nostalgia but the fact we are together makes it somehow okay. We have also been praying with our neighbors and family which is very customed here and I am glad for that as it has been comforting. Hearing from anyone really about how they loved my mom is incredibly comforting. Is like “I know” and “I am with you” in a more special form. 🙏🏼Thank you for those who have shared a message or a text and for my patient couples who were so accomodating to work with my best friend while I went home to my mom. I will be back to happy someday . I promise all my happy snowy photos from the beginning of winter are still waiting to be shared but I just wanted to be real and be me and welcome you into my life. Thanks for being here 💜

This couple fell in love walking the white sand of this beach in Costa Rica and came back years later to celebrate their marriage with their favorite people. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Coming back home always felt like a fresh breath of air and this trip was just the perfect timing . Being there with this couple and their families, in the middle of joy and life, it was the kind of air I still remember. I truly believe places truly have a beautiful gravity on our souls. Do you have a place that pulls you?

He knows I love the moon, so my husband will often ask “Have you seen the moon today?” . He knows me and knows that even in crazy, busy days, I will drop everything and run to see a beautiful sky. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s these little things for me, the moments when I find out he was thinking of me . Sometimes is the moon reminders, sometimes is a package of Oreos from the gas station. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What is one little thing your SO does that makes you feel loved?

The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in.” — Morrie Schwartz ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There’s always been something incredible about photographing love and it all begins with an invitation. An invitation to listen and collect pieces of your story, that when put together they are so much more than a dream. 🥺 Lexy and Michael, I am so grateful for your trust into safe keeping this monumental moment for you. In between the gentle lake superior waves and the birch trees, my favorite part was seeing jump with glee ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Do you all feel the same about the North Shore?👇🏽 🥰

If we’ve learned anything from this past year, it’s that we need to be comfortable with change. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Because in this difficult year, we were changed. And we were pushed out of our comfort zones. But in that process we grew. We did things we never thought we would. Coping became a trendy word, and so did baking. Masks went from being strange to be necessary and a little staple to our laundry. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tony and Meredith, thank you for embracing the change of plans. 😍 I can’t wait to share more of the incredible love that surrounded you in your day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Whether it was a new dish, a new job or a new outlook in life, this year changed us all. I would love to know one thing that changed for you this past year, and how did you make it work 💪🏼

If you’re here, you’re my friend. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Goodwill or retail. Olive Garden or Crave. Folgers or Starbucks. It. Doesn’t. Matter. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I care about YOU. I care about the person inside of you - what lights your soul on fire, the stories you keep close to your heart, the moments you feel the most alive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re here, I care about you. And I’d love to hear more about you below 💛 Happy New Year!

Despite 2020’s challenges, there was still so much beauty this year. I photographed a lot of weddings that while smaller they were full of emotion. My year was full of proposals and engagements (and a lot of baby bumps). With each session, I was reminded of the ceaseless love still in the world. ⠀ At home, we grew, played, drawed and painted. We met more neighbors, and created a lot of new friendships (though socially-distanced) Yes, it was challenging, but the world has come together in ways like never before so I am choosing hope and light! I invite you to do that too! Share with me one moment in 2020 when you felt unconditional love 💛
