In light of the recent hurt and devastation the Twin Cities has endured, we will be donating 50% of this week's proceeds of our Stay Proud sign fundraiser to the [@visitlakestreet] We Love Lake Street and Northside Funders Group, both organizations that are helping black and brown-owned businesses rebuild. Today marks the start of #PrideMonth and we must not forget that Pride started with the activism of black and brown trans women that led to the Stonewall Riots and the progress we've made today. We stand in solidarity with the black community calling for justice. LINK: Tcpri.de/stayproud #TCPride2020 We are also hosting a food and hygiene items donation drive at our office during sign pickup this Saturday, 6/6, from 10am-2pm at our office: 2021 E Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55413. 📸:@fitfoodiefinds

After postponing in-person #TCPride2020 events due to COVID-19, we are excited to announce virtual celebrations over Pride month! • • • We will host a virtual Rainbow Run 5k presented by UnitedHealth Group, a virtual marketplace to connect the community with local vendors, a virtual concert series, a virtual art show and a virtual Ashley Rukes LGBTQ Pride Parade. We will also have several DIY Pride segments throughout the month. • As we develop these plans and gather the necessary resources, please continue to check our pages for updates. • We are all navigating a new world, but our commitment to the LGBTQ+ community remains the same. We want to thank the staff and volunteers who have spent countless hours planning and preparing for Pride this year. We are so grateful for the community support as we pioneer a new way to celebrate Twin Cities Pride.
