I’m going to admit I was skeptical of this whole vision concept at first. Thankfully, I overcame dismissal and the desire to write the perfect vision to start growing my belief in visioning. Now I am such an advocate I recruited Scarlett to join me in vision boarding. If you need some inspiration to draft your vision check out my latest blog post (link in bio). What can you achieve when you let yourself dream big and ignore perfectionism?
Happy Father’s Day @golfinthehole! Thank you for planning our family adventures, manning the grill and making sure us girls are always taken care of (no easy task)! We ❤️ you and wish you the best day filled with 🍔, whatever sports happen to be on TV during this unique time and peace and quiet on the couch. 😘
Curious after several conversations with clients where they shared they were feeling burnt out and knowing summer vacations (although they might be more like staycations this year) are right around the corner, I asked clients to share their favorite strategies for recharging and stepping away from business to relax. See below for their responses. Taking a FULL day off to do activities and spend time with family always leaves me recharged. Also picking a time each day to close up shop - whether it’s 5pm or 7pm after that I stop checking email and enjoy the evening. From @abbey4uk...I love to research things such as recipes to cook during the weekend or to have in my back pocket.. takes my mind off things. I like to take Saturday off completely and then spend a little time early Sunday morning to get me ready for Monday so I don’t feel frazzled. When I go on vacation I either leave my computer at home or limit myself to early morning hours before our fun starts. From @kendrakorkus...Unplugging for me can be anything from meditation, listening to music, reading a book, dancing, talking with a friend, being outside in nature, working out etc.
For years I’ve dreamed of living near the beach. This week thanks to a lot of hard work and support from my family we made my dream a reality. With everything going on in the world right now, I hesitated sharing this post. One thing I can offer during this time of uncertainty and change is how to develop a growth mindset. We have an opportunity become more compassionate leaders in our families, communities and businesses. This is a reminder that you can and should set goals for yourself. With the right amount of clarity, confidence, courage and consistency backed by a TON of gritty effort you can make your goals a reality.
