This morning I woke up to the incredibly devastating and painful news that my beautiful friend's husband was killed in Iraq yesterday. I remember the first time I met Brandon for their maternity photos years ago, how immediately intimidated I was by his quiet, hulk-like demeanor. I quickly learned that Brandon was one of the most gentle, kind, brave, protective human beings on the planet. I've watched and documented as their family grew, and to say that this man will be missed, is simply the largest understatement to be made. From his wife, Samantha: With devastation and so much sadness in our hearts, I am saddened to announce that my dear husband, bestfriend, and soulmate died tragically yesterday in Iraq while disarming an IED ( improvised explosive device.) He was clearing agricultural land so that families could go back to their villages and live safely. The incident occurred shortly after I talked to him on the phone and just south of Mosul, Iraq at 8:03 am. A go-fund me has been set up for our family to help with any financial strain that we may endure as Brandon was our main source of income. GFM link in bio.
This bride made her own macrame wedding decor and it was amazzzzzzzing JUST LIKE HER 🖤
It was pouring rain and cold today, so I’m reminiscing about this wonderfully warm, brilliant sunset, taken almost TWO YEARS AGO (what @_rachelfawn, how?!?!). Washington, get your weather shit together and act like it’s summertime, damnit.
If you’re not having this much fun on your wedding day, you’re doing it wrong. Also, during the reception, this bride babe put on the cuuuutest jean jacket that says “ride or die” on the back....and I definitely ordered one when I got home ✌️
