It's been a busy week in Little Stars, and our little bakers have been hard at work in the kitchen! 🧁👩‍🍳✨

The children had a fantastic time making their delicious cupcakes, enjoying every step of the baking process—from mixing the ingredients and of course, the best part... eating them! 😋

Baking is a wonderful way to develop fine motor skills, encourage teamwork, build confidence and practise following instructions—all while having lots of fun. 💛🧁

From tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies... 🐛🦋✨

Our Little Stars have loved watching this magical transformation unfold and were so excited to see their caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies! Today, we released them into our very own nature garden, where we hope they'll flutter by again one day.

What looks like simple fun is actually packed with valuable learning opportunities. As the children wash the bikes, they're developing both gross and fine motor skills through scrubbing, squeezing sponges, carrying water, and reaching different parts of the bikes.

They're also building communication and language skills as they chat, share ideas, ask for help, and describe what they're doing. Working together encourages cooperation, turn-taking, problem-solving, and teamwork, while sensory exploration with water and bubbles adds another layer of discovery.

The bikes get sparkling clean, but the real magic is all the learning happening along the way! ✨

Yesterday our Little Stars got their hands dirty planting sunflower seeds and learning that big, beautiful things can grow from the tiniest beginnings.

We can't wait to see our sunflowers grow alongside our little gardeners!

🎶✨ What a wonderful Parent & Child Singalong at Little Stars today! ✨🎶

There was singing, dancing, clapping and plenty of smiles as our children and parents joined in together for a lovely afternoon of music and fun 💛
