This #WorldRhinoDay2019, we want to bring some conservation success stories to your timeline! Poaching and habitat loss threaten rhino populations all over the world. In Northwest Namibia, there have been no poaching cases on the black rhino population over the past 18 months! A true success story. Another vulnerable species is the one-horned rhino, whose numbers were as low as 600 in 1975. Conservation efforts have managed to bring the population back to an amazing 3,582 individual rhinos in the wild! Comment to show your love for Rhinos this World Rhino Day!

We are all using the planet’s resources faster than nature can restore itself 😪and we must act immediately to reverse this damage. Wildlife has halved in less than a generation🐘. Natural habitats are being put under increasing pressure. And the climate crisis is leading us into uncharted territory. But people have changed too. 🥺 They’re more aware of the threat to essentials like food, water, and clean air. They’re more ambitious, more innovative. And they’re backed by a growing number of corporations.💡 We can not turn back time but we can definitely raise our voice🎤. We have the science and solutions⚗, now we need the will from the World Leaders.🙌 WWF works to restore the loss of nature but we can not do it alone - we need you so we can work together to stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.
