#DidYouKnow that Mr Back led a recent #KeyStage3 and #KeystageS4 student voice panel, where tough questions, such as “How seriously is racist behaviour dealt with by staff?” and “Do you feel safe and respected at school regardless of your race or ethnicity?” led to some helpful discussions.

There’s always room for improvement, but we were pleased that students said they felt confident to report racism and discrimination to an adult in the school. Mr Back would like to thank all students involved for their openness in sharing difficult personal testimonies.

What a fantastic day for our Year 11s! ✨ They had an incredible opportunity at the Basildon Skills Show, where they were able to network with over 50 different employers and further education providers. It was a brilliant chance for them to explore their future options, ask important questions, and get a real feel for their next steps after school.

The conversations were inspiring, and the experience has given our pupils so much to think about as they plan for their careers. A huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible!
