A huge congratulations to Arun who was Man of the match on 15th March in the Essex County under 18 competition. He had the highest average on the day. He’s also now in the Superleague team! A huge WELL DONE to Arun; we’re so proud of you!

On Friday 13th March, 11 of our JHS Squad swimmers competed in the Basildon District #Swimming Gala at Garons Park in Southend. All students swam incredibly well in their individual races, with some even competing in two races! In the lead-up to the competition students were attending swim squad showing hard work and perseverance wanting to do their best! We received an amazing accolade for the year 9 girls swimmers who placed 2nd in the district.

On top of this, we had 5 individual medallists from the competition:
Victoria - 50m Breastroke (2nd) and 100m Individual Medley (3rd)
Lilly - 50m Backstroke (2nd)
Ethan - 50m Backstroke (3rd)
Freya - 50m Backstroke (2nd) and 100m Individual Medley (3rd)
Alaina - 50m Butterfly (2nd)

Well done to all swimmers who competed we are very proud of you!!

What an incredible night at James Hornsby’s Got Talent! 🌟

Our pupils truly blew us away with their confidence, creativity and amazing skills on display. From start to finish, the talent in the room was just outstanding!

A huge well done to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners – you should be so proud of yourselves 👏 But honestly, the judges had such a tough job choosing between so many fantastic performances!

A big congratulations to Holly for her performance at the BATD Freestyle Scholarships in Glasgow last weekend. To be selected out of the thousands in the BATD Freestyle last year, and then to make it through to the finals of the placing in the Top Six of the Senior category at a national level scholarship event run by a major UK dance organisation is genuinely impressive. We’re so proud of your achievement- WELL DONE!
