It was great to meet so many of the newest family members, show them around the school and give them the chance to meet a few of the staff and students they will be working alongside next academic year.

Congratulations to Lola for finishing in the top 10 across the three rounds she competed in for Blokfest last month. Lola has been climbing for The Reach Youth #Climbing Squad in Greenwich and also for the Rock Hub Competition Squad at Basildon Sporting Village, competing across the country in a variety of competitions. Good luck in your next competition, later this month!

Before Easter we celebrated a fantastic win for the Senior #Netball team against a tough opposition. Excellent composure shown throughout in a really tight game which ended 10-3 to JHS. Player of the match was shared between Maisey and Sophie.

Our #StudentCouncil came together for a fantastic and productive meeting recently! Student leaders met with Form Representatives to share ideas around sustainability at school and explore ways to make a positive environmental impact.

There were some brilliant suggestions we will be taking forward and a real sense of collaboration throughout.
A huge well done to Elise, Tyler, Summer and Jax for leading the session so confidently and effectively.
We’re excited to see these ideas develop and make a difference in our school community.

Our Year 11s recently went to the Towngate Theatre for a production of #Macbeth

The play was really well done, and the students found it so useful to see the play coming to life to prepare them for their GCSEs where they will face questions that they now have a real-life context for. The actors and director gave us the opportunity to ask questions afterwards as well, which really helps with that context!
