What an incredible #NationalCareersWeek at The James Hornsby School!
It was a week packed with opportunities for our students to explore their futures and develop the skills they need for the world of work. From CV writing workshops led by the DWP, to mock interviews with local employers, students have had the chance to experience real-life recruitment experiences and build their confidence.
We’ve also hosted taster industry workshops, employability skills challenges, and university workshops, giving students valuable insight into the many pathways available after school.
One of the highlights of the week has been welcoming back so many of our amazing alumni. Seeing former students return to share their journeys, experiences and advice has been truly inspiring for our current pupils and a powerful reminder of what they can achieve.
