📸 School Photo Retakes – Don’t Miss Out!
Photo retakes will take place on Tuesday, November 19, in the library, right after Fall Break.
-Retakes are for students who missed photo day or want a second shot at their picture.
-Listen for announcements throughout the morning to know when it’s your turn.

On behalf of Principal Corey Haley and Memorial Composite High School, we regret to inform that we must cancel this year’s Awards Night. While we were hopeful that the event could still proceed, our focus has shifted to supporting students and reorganizing multiple school commitments.

We recognize this is disappointing news, especially after having rescheduled the event twice.

Next Steps for Student Recognition:

To ensure our award recipients still receive acknowledgement for their outstanding achievements, we will be moving forward with the following:

A feature in the local newspaper listing all major award recipients and community sponsors.

Individual recognition of major award recipients on our social media platforms, including their photo, award, and sponsor.

A feature on our school website highlighting this year’s major award winners.

Each major award recipient will be contacted to pick up their award and/or scholarship at the school’s main office or the sponsor's place of business.

Grade 10 and 11 award winners will receive recognition at school during class time.

Thank you again for your patience. We remain proud of our students and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments through these alternate formats.

Please be advised that the Parent-Teacher Interviews and the 2024-2025 Awards Ceremony scheduled for November 6 have been cancelled due to the ongoing labour action.

We understand the importance of recognizing student achievement and are hoping to reschedule the Awards Ceremony. If we are able to do so, a new date will be communicated once we have greater clarity regarding the labour action.
