A snippet of my @movnat routine today. Not only does this type of movement challenge every single part of my body, especially my mind (hello slackline concentration), but being outside helps reset my circadian rhythm so I get better sleep at night to lower cortisol to better balance hormones (aka, lower sugar cravings, increase energy, burn fat effectively). The moving itself lowers anxiety and improves my brain function to optimize my daily productivity and happiness 🤸♀️ . In my Fuel Your Adventure course, I don’t just teach you about nutrition. 3 FATAL mistakes you are making while trying to lose weight You've tried just about everything under the sun to lose weight. You've cut out food groups, counted calories, exercised harder, restricted portions...maybe even sought out help from a professional nutritionist. But no matter what you do, the pounds, fatigue & sugar cravings continue to hang around with little to no improvement...and nothing that sticks long-term. Not only does this waste your time, money and mental effort, but you are left without the energy & health you need to LIVE YOUR LIFE. > you are counting the minutes until you can crash on the couch after work rather than play with your kids > you spend more time being self-conscious about your weight at gatherings rather than enjoying time with family & friends > you feel out of control around food because the sugar cravings just come on harder and harder every single day > you struggle to finish work projects because your mental energy just isn't there So, what are the fatal mistakes holding you back from actually seeing your clothes fit better each & every week? 1. You are too focused on what foods NOT to eat and missing out on ADDING enough of the foods to your plate that TURN OFF hunger hormones. . Wt loss will be next to impossible if you are having consistent sugar cravings and never feel full. 2. You pigeonhole yourself into nutrition/fitness systems that leave you hungry instead of SATISFYING hunger. Again, willpower will work for you for a couple of weeks MAX. . 3. You are just dabbling in new meals plans, quick-fix offers that don't get you transformational, education-based support. I wish more health coaches took the approach you do. I feel like I've wasted thousands of dollars the last few years following the advice of individuals that didn't truly know how to help others. I don't crave sugar for the first time in who knows how long. I'm down almost 4 lbs! Gorgeous trail day with the fam. The boys did a 5k on wheels, mama and pups on foot. It’s super nice that the kiddos go fast so I can get in a good run with them now 🏃♀️ 🚴♀️ . P.S..when you’re in your follicular phase, your body will crave more intense movement. If your workouts are the same all month, your hormones will eventually burn out.
