Yesterday was my birthday and I got the best gift I could ever ask for: a yes from my now fiancé to the question “Will you marry me?”. The incredible @caitlinconnell.photo flew down to Florida to meet us for what Rachel thought was a couples photo shoot. What she didn’t know is that Caitlin and I had been planning behind her back for months to make it an engagement shoot! There’s plenty more photos to come and I will also be posting video of the whole process!

Rachel is away this weekend so tomorrow I’ve got @jakeo_campo back filming with me at the next wedding. Here’s a little video of our mid week workout. 
We celebrated two years together on Saturday and I cannot fully express how grateful I am for this person. Life is so much more than I thought it could ever be now that you’re my partner. I am excited for what the future has in store for us. I love you Rachel. 
My highlight of every week has been playing ultimate frisbee and soccer with these people. They opened up their group and were so friendly right away. It’s been a blast getting to know everyone and meeting new people. Thanks so much @embrey_soccer

We decided to keep our moon-child and name her Pip. This was her first hike. 
*EDIT* Pip is staying with us! Hey everyone! This little guy is looking for a home! He was abandoned on the road near Rachel’s house and we caught him two days ago. He has totally come out of his shell since being safe with people. He is very cuddly and playful, does great with car rides, and seems to be play with other cats and dogs. We would love to see him go to a family that will give him lots of love and affection because he has already taken a place in our hearts in the short time we’ve spent with him. Please message me if you or someone you know is interested in taking him in. 
I hope everyone had a good 4th of July. We revisited Cedar Dam this year. It’s a beautiful wild blackberry farm and campsite that Rachel and I stayed at last year on the fourth. I’m happy to have good friends like these.
