Starting a new business is a lot like planning a birthday party You put all your heart and soul into making it special but you’re secretly terrified nobody will be excited to show up and you’ll be standing there alone And embarrassed as hell (Anyone else forever scarred from a childhood party nobody showed up to? Just me? Okay 😭🤭) But for real! Putting blood, sweat, training, leadership, many many days of tears and a WHOLE metric fack-Ton of money into something you believe so fully in isn’t easy It takes a whole lotta balls to bet on yourself at this level To hope that you’ll be a good leader And set good systems And cultivate a culture that people LOVE to be around To put on the CEO hat when necessarily and not forget about the visionary hat as well To start at ground zero and be okay with it not taking off like gangbusters (because honestly, it’s a slow start and not enough people warn you that) And while the decorating is cool, and meeting new people is fun, and hiring a talented team is fulfilling That voice in the back of your head likes to hang out and say “it’s not gonna work, you weren’t ready” But you never will be ready sister. You won’t be ready until you jump in, make mistakes and vow to take in the lessons Comment below: what are you procrastinating on going out of fear?

How a toxic 9-5 work environment made me a better business owner I still have nightmares that I’m back at that place. I still panic when I think about if I did or didn’t do something right, scared about missing a call to come in early and stay late You know how sometimes you have dreams that you didn’t turn in a homework assignment and ended up failing a class? It’s JUST like that isn’t it? Looking back, the universe really set me up to get out of it because honestly, I can admit I didn’t respect myself enough to walk away the many opportunities I had to do so The craziest thing is, I’ve been a full time entrepreneur, at home with my family for a year and realizing a lot of the things that are likely testing you right now, are there to prepare you for what’s coming in your entrepreneur journey and are giving you skills you never realized you’d need 🔥 Radical responsibility! This was the first thing it prepared me for. Nobody is coming to rescue you and you have to take ownership of how you show up and your actions in your business. Theres no room for victim mindset in business 🔥 You don’t always have to give MORE! I assumed that if I showed up more, came in early, stayed late, did other people’s job that I would earn more respect. You are enough AS YOU ARE & your programs are enough as they are 🔥 Expectations and Intentions: keeping that line of communication open with team members, contractors and clients because without that happening, someone is bound to have their feelings hurt (and it’s likely YOU!) 🔥 Boundaries: When I decide I am done for the day, I am done for the day. Just because someone is in the DMs asking for advice, if it’s outside of your work hours - honor yourself and your boundaries. DMs aren’t an emergency, and family time needs to take precedence 🔥 Integrity: if you say you’re going to do something honor your word. Do the right thing even when nobody is watching, not for the sake of what others think of you, but how you think of yourself Comment below a lesson your 9-5 has taught you

So you don’t want to launch 9 week control freak? It doesn’t excite you Your audience isn’t into it And you aren’t one to fake it for the sake of keeping up with the Joneses You want to change it up—and you’re ready to shake some things up? I got you sister Standing out in your industry can be as simple as NOT doing what is expected of you — going against the grain — when everyone else zigs, you zag One of the best examples I can give about shaking things up is when I stepped out of left field bringing awareness to how “hey girl” messages are damaging your brand and educating from a consumer behavior perspective better ways to achieve integrity based sales So how can you use the fact that you ARENT publicly launching 9 week control freak as a creative angle to serve your clients on a major level?? 📱 be open about how you’re going against the grain “everyone else is launching this program and here’s why I’m not..I know you need _____ because you want _____” 📱 shake things up by dropping a freebie to Focus on lead gen & nurture in a public launch over public selling 📱COLLAB PROJECT — imagine this, you coming together with other leaders who possess different skills from you to serve your audience in a bigger way & cross pollinate audience All of these are long game strategies — as in you put in the work now and it pays off major LATER! We know business isn’t Amazon Prime, we will wait for that freight delivery anytime 😎 Comment below: Is your Q1 mapped out? Would content to help you do that be helpful?

The 3 Invite Tips Nobody Is Teaching You Why? Because building a sustainable business rooted in connection and delivery is harder than a copy-paste-rinse-and-repeat system. You’re ready to be a marketer and treat your business like a REAL business But when it comes to gearing up to invite to your upcoming group program or support container, how can you start conversations and get to know your audience before you decide who is the best fit to invite? 1️⃣ GIVE 2X THE VALUE BEFORE THE ASK: meaning, if it’s $160 for them to start to work with you, how can you provide double that value and support to then before the invite so that the ask is a no-brained (goodbye money objections!) 2️⃣ ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS: active listening is key here so you can decide, is this even someone you wanna “ask out”? (Aka: Join your group) examples I’d use are: what if anything is keeping you from currently reaching (GOAL)? What makes you interested in working with me? Why is now the right time to push for (GOAL)? 3️⃣ WHAT DO THEY NEED TO BE QUALIFIED TO BUY? what knowledge, insight, or experience do they need before they are ready to pay you? How can you provide them with that for free before the invite so that the onboarding process is smooth as silk? Do they need good money mindset? So they need some nutrition balance? Etc.. Comment below: what are you inviting or about to invite to?

You may have noticed changes to the search feature on IG Well you aren’t alone, a new update has been rolling out to accounts where “key words” or popular common words/phrases can be used to pull up accounts & content So what does this mean for you? 1️⃣ make sure your name section of your bio contains key words to describe your expertise 2️⃣ make sure your bio statement or “I help” statement includes key words your ideal client searches/uses (avoid fluffy language they don’t use) 3️⃣ in the Hook/above the fold on your captions ensure you’re including key words related to the topic of what the post is about and avoid using fonts that may not show up on all devices We are still waiting for more information to roll out about how the search feature polls accounts and content we will definitely be keeping you posted but to answer your question about hashtags No, they aren’t obsolete, and I still recommend using all 30, putting them in the first comment and focus on niche specific (under 200k) with a few larger ones for testing purposes Comment below: What are some thing fun you are doing this weekend?

Want to MORE than 2X your views on Instagram stories? I get asked this all the time, “how can I increase my views on stories?” You already know that with removal of a lot of bot accounts and introduction of new features (like guides and reels) has story views down, but we can make some easy changes that with regular use can increase your story views by potential clients! 1️⃣ first, you’ve gotta be consistent. Spread your stories out throughout the day and aim to do 10-15 stories per day . 2️⃣ talk like you’re speaking to one person. Your audience wants to feel like you’re talking to them so limit addressing everyone like “hey guys!” . 3️⃣ aim for 2-4 mini trainings per week with face to camera and/or text based content 4️⃣ change up the style of content you post throughout the day — you don’t want only face to camera video or only still photos 5️⃣ drive traffic to your stories using the CTA at the end of your feed posts. Give them a juicy nugget in your post and tell them if they want ANOTHER to go watch your stories What are your favorite IG stories to watch?👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

6 steps to have a FEEL GOOD and profitable launch Yesterday we talked about the two main types of launching, front facing launches & behind the scenes launches 🚀. Today I am excited to walk you through mistakes that often happen so that as you gear up to create & release your business baby into the world that you can best avoid these common pitfalls 🎯 DONT FORGET TO SAVE THIS FOR LATER 1️⃣ Pre-launch is more important than your active launch period. Having a nurture, connection and priming marketing plan that includes as many touch points as possible to get you in front of your prospective buyer Pre-launch is your hustle so LIVE LAUNCH can be fun & flowy 2️⃣ when you are taking what you learn from someone else and passing it off as your own, if your ideal client has been looking for a solution to this problem they’ve likely already looked at where you have found your content from, and can tell when you haven’t added your own unique touch & took the time to create your own methodology 3️⃣ you’ve gotta talk about your offer frequently. Others are not on social media as much as we are and they need to see your offer multiple times before they can make a purchase decision 4️⃣ Nobody has perfect launches all the time, they just only talk about the good ones, and I don’t blame a girl for that - but don’t compare your first launch to someone else’s 12th 5️⃣ remember, pre-launch is your hustle so live launch is FUN! Book a celebratory dinner reservation at the beginning of your lunch, go get a blowout or go get brunch with your best friend you deserve to be having fun during launch instead of compulsively checking your DMs 6️⃣ support and accountability is everything sister. Sometimes we need someone in our corner to remind us that it isn’t about us - it’s about them - your customers and clients! Comment below & tell me what you’re most excited about in December?
