A few fun ones from Abby and Dalton’s Belle Meade Plantation wedding last month. I’ll be back there again today and hoping the horses will hang out with us again. #nashvilleweddingphotography #nashvilleweddingphotographer #droneshot #gardenwedding #photobombinghorses
a couple of throwbacks of me and my girlfriend from way back before we were married.
I seriously have the best job. After photographing more than 500 weddings I still get excited about catching moments of laughter or hearing clients say “Wow!” www.mattandrewsphotography.com . . . . #weddingphotography #nashvillephotographer #nashvilleweddingvenues #weddinginspiration #love #kiss
A few shots from Jessica and Ben’s wedding at St. Henry’s back in July.
The first half of 2019 we had record breaking amounts of rainfall and it seemed to be clear all week every week and then it would pour on Saturday. I believe, of my first 10 weddings of the year it rained at least part of the day on 8 of them. It is always disappointing but I’m always impressed at the way couples enjoy themselves and make the best of it. Keli and George’s wedding was one of those rainy days but even though it rained pretty nonstop after their ceremony and a little before the ceremony there was this perfect break in the rain just when the ceremony was planned so they were able to have their outdoor ceremony with the pretty sounds of birds and I even saw some butterflies and realized the venue (Butterfly Hollow) was appropriately named. The reason I gravitate towards a documentary style of wedding photography is because the weather might effect your ability to get that golden rim light in your client’s hair for portraits but it never seems to stop the flow of emotional moments like the groom opening his gift or seeing Keli in her dress for the first time and the laughter when family and friends are enjoying each other is beautiful whether indoors or outside.
Since Lizzo’s song Truth Hurts is stuck in my head, here are a few of my photos with bomb lighting. “Fresh photos with the bomb lighting. New man on The Minnesota Vikings Truth hurts, needed something more exciting Bom bom di dom bi dum bum bay” #lizzo #truthhurts #bomblighting #nashvillephotographer
Now that Courtney has been married for about 20 mins I can post some of the bridal portraits we took this summer.
Gibbs and Rachel at Belle Meade Plantation
Party time - I’m kicking off my busy fall season with my first two wedding weekend since May. I’ll be at Allenbrooke farm tomorrow and then Scarritt Bennett and Belle Meade Plantation on Sunday. Monday I hope to do some swimming. Here are a few photos from Rachel and Gibbs’ July 6 wedding. We started the day at the JW Marriott in that cool suite with the panoramic view of downtown then we were off to Christ Church Cathedral for the ceremony. I’ll do another post soon with the photos from their Belle Meade Plantation reception. #jump #bubbles #weddingseason
The bottom fell out during Kathryn and Kyler’s wedding ceremony. Everyone got pretty soaked before they moved the ceremony inside but it just made it all that much more memorable. I love these rainy ceremony photos and I love that everyone kept smiling. The rain did eventually stop and we took advantage of it with golf carts to explore the property. . . #rainywedding #downpour #summershowers #nashvilleweddingphotographer #itslikerainonyourweddingday #liketheweather #whollstoptherain
