Bobbins had a special visitor this morning… one of our school pet giant African land snails, H.G Shells! Mr Owen brought him to see us so we could have a look up close! Lots of us did not want to get too close, but everyone had a good look and some of us asked some good questions. This week, we launched the Year 1 new creative curriculum topic of Wonderful People. The children watched JC Ted being kidnapped! We then thought of a plan to save him. We needed to look for clues, and collectively, we can up with a plan! We then drew our own plans to find him! Some of us started looking for clues straight away… asking members of staff if they’d seen him and looking for clues! Last week, Year1 Larkin began looking at Everyday Materials in Science. We sorted objects by material practically, then had a go at sorting pictures into material groups.
