Year 5 had a fab time at the Black Country Museum. They got to experience what Victorian schools were like. They had their hands and shoes checked and boys had to let girls enter first. They even got to see one of their teachers experience the cane which was a Victorian punishment.

Miss Bullingham is super proud of receptions learning today! We are reading’Pumpkin Soup’ this week and today we have created our own talk 4 writing of how to make pumpkin soup. The children then had a go at creating their own story maps. In provision we have lots of activities to support the children’s learning, today the children were also able to cut up pumpkins for a real life experience of making pumpkin soup. #EYFS #pumpkin #pumpkinsoup #talk4writing

What a fun Thursday in Year 4 Ferguson! We started by practising our team work and problem solving skills in forest schools, building shelters and digging holes. Then we learnt about electricity by testing different circuits to see whether a bulb lit up.
