Stop carrying your parent’s beliefs around money or success or whatever your path/purpose is. Basically If they aren’t where you want to be stop listening to them (let’s face it, you’re only listening because you want their love and acceptance which you deserve no matter what you choose to do with your life.) 3. Stop looking at what other people have, comparing it to what you have (or don’t) and then feeling bad about it. This applies to other people’s businesses, fancy houses, dream vacations, monthly revenue celebrations whatever. If you’re comparing and getting angry, jealous, frustrated, disappointed or sad, cut that addiction to comparison OUT. ✂️ ❤️ 4. Stop harboring any of those low vibes for people who didn’t pay you, hurt you financially or didn’t support your financial growth. Let that shit GO. 5. Stop looking at your past revenue and bank account so much. Focus a little more on where you’re going rather than where you have been. Start loving money for what it can provide you (experiencing this magical life you have) Start forming your own empowered beliefs about money, and success (and anchor into teachers who are doing what you want to do) Start looking at what people have and celebrate it because it’s a sign of what’s possible for you.   • Want to know what I think is total absolute bullshit?!?! That we only justify investing in ourselves when our backs against the wall. An 800 dollar fitness program is a “no way can I afford that,” but the $1,200 it costs you for doctors appointments and medications when you get sick is a no brainer “I’ll figure it out” investment. We can’t take a 1 week vacation to improve our mental health because we feel guilty, but when we are using substances to cope with our lack of love for ourselve, going away for two weeks is finally “doing the right thing putting themselves first.” Or what about learning? Forget enrolling in a course that improved your mindset, strengthens your joy and allows you to feel more fulfilled... but when a college or University charged us $25,000 a semester for a piece of paper that makes us “credible,” we don’t even bat an eyelash because “it’s hard to get a job without a college degree.” Why On earth do we wait till things are tough to put dollars down on the future we want to create? Why do we make excuses until it’s too late and we are in so much pain or fear that we feel like we must take massive action or else we are doomed. Wouldn’t life be so much better if we put money into the future we wanted instead of putting money down on hoping to avoid the pain we are in? In my world, I’d much rather invest in my future.   • “Can I take you out for a coffee and pick your brain?” On two occasions I said yes to a meet up like this... with the same person... she was late both times. This poor girl, every time I talked to her, she was miserable in her business. On paper (or on her social media feed, rather) she had the picture perfect life. Her photos were flawless. She was always smiling. She looked really, really successful. She marketed the shit out of her highly successful business coaching programs. And she did it like a total boss. The thought of potentially getting her as a client made me feel proud of myself. “Someone like this wants to hire me?” I remember thinking. But then I met her. She was sad. Burnt out. Exhausted. Unfulfilled in her marriage. Micromanaging every aspect of her business. Hitting an upper limit so hard it would have given anyone a massive concussion. She was trying to control everything in her life with strategy, force, and a ton of masculine energy. I could see her feminine so hungry for a new way, but her ego and fear wouldn’t allow it. I supported her as best I could that day, gave my heart in serving her, but she didn’t invest in a business relationship with me. Then a few months later, she asked to meet again and I said yes to another free coffee date. She was in an even darker place and was even more in need of support. But she never signed with me as her coach. This girl taught me some valuable lessons. 1. Someone who “has it all” on social media probably doesn’t. 2. People are petrified to give up control and surrender to inner work. 3. You cannot save everyone. And that’s okay. 4. Someone’s “no” to you is not a reflection of your abilities... it’s a reflection of their readiness. For every one coffee shop rejection you face, there are thousands of people out there who are so ready and so eager for your support. People who will pay for the magic you have to offer the world. Don’t focus on the one girl who’s going to pick your brain and never do the scary thing of investing with you. Focus on finding the women who are brave, courageous, and ready to grow with you. ❤️♥️🤍 Have you ever been rejected before? What did it teach you?

  • Why I stopped talking about how much money I make. đź’° đź’´ Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of biz coaches in the online space who speak to the money: “Learn how how to hit $5k months,” they post. “Looking for women who want to hit $10,000 months.” “Calling in five gorgeous souls who want to make six figures in their business.” And for the first time, it started to feel really off to me. I remember when the idea of even having a 1 thousand dollar month felt like winning the lottery. ...but also felt just as impossible. To some people 10k months feels beautiful. But to others, it can feel hard, distant, and challenging to believe in. I don’t ever want a woman to look at my marketing and feel like it isn’t possible for her. I want her to pick her own unique goal and energetically gets behind her dream: whatever that dream may be. I don’t want to choose that dream for her with some superficial number. I want HER to pick her milestones. And most importantly, I want her to honor her impact and mission more deeply than the revenue: because honoring the mission within your soul is what creates wealth. The Business Babe brand has been doing really well these days. We closed out our biggest launch (just under $200,000 in sales) and my heart was so happy. Happy because those were HUMANS who invested in themselves. And by enrolling in my programs I have the honor of holding space for their transformations. The truth is I have had several launches that performed lower than I wanted them to. Ironically, those were the months where I was obsessed with hitting specific numbers. Coincidence? I think not. When you tell the Universe “I need this number to feel successful,” she responds: “Lady, you’re missing the point. You’re successful without it ! Look let me show you.” When I was chasing significance and worthiness in the numbers, it got me no where. This launch I said: “Universe, bring us our best launch yet. Let me serve more women than I have ever served inside this program.” It worked for me because I was focused on service. I wasn’t focused on the dollar, but on improving my energetic receiving abilities while also impacting the planet 🌎 ♥️ #missiondriven

  • I’m leaving my hubby for a 3 month spiritual trip, which I get is totally unconventional. He’s coming to visit, and our relationship is solid. Don’t worry. In my q&a on ig stories today, someone asked “how has your relationship with Matt changed as you deepen your spiritual practice?” And here’s the truth: There was a time where I believed I had to choose between him and my inner work. I was scared the more spiritual I became, the more distant we would become. I used to say, “I’m so scared if I grow, we are going to grow apart.” He would laugh and make some wise logical comment that would bring me back down to earth. My relationship with Matt is one of my greatest spiritual teachers/lessons on this planet because he is DIFFERENT than me. He doesn’t do plant ceremonies with me. He doesn’t have a zen den. He doesn’t pray or journal daily. He does things in his own way. He practices silent mornings. He works on the yard to experience spirit. He does crossword puzzles to zen out. My partner does not need to be like me: he just needs to love me for who I am. And if I want that of him, I need to give that to him first. My coach @ryanyokome is always speaking to this: men want to be respected. How can my partner feel that way if I’m trying to change him all the time? Years ago, I would get angry if he didn’t sit in a ceremony with me or if he rejected my invitation to meditate. But the truth is, I was wanting him to do those things because I didn’t feel confident or “enough” in doing them on my own. It was as if asking him to participate was me feeling like I wasn’t justified in enjoying those experiences solo. I was insecure with my inner work process. And I needed to look at that. This was the lesson. My connection to spirit is my own. And the more I connect into that, the more of my higher self I become. And the more of my higher self I become, the more aligned and in love we become. For anyone who feels otherwise in their relationship, it may be time to ask: “does this relationship fully support my growth?” Or “am I making up a story in my head that I’m not enough in my higher power?” And regardless of what your answer is, you are fully safe.
