Primping things in our little dining nook! We had the crown moulding added in this room a couple of weeks ago which was the final step in completing the space. Aesthetically there is still stuff I’ll work on in here (new back door, design retrofit to this vintage table, a little seating area in the opposite corner to this etc.) but as far as the big things (walls, ceiling, floor) this room is done ✅ Scroll through to see the endless plaster repairs in this room and not pictured is the full WEEK that Dan and I worked this summer to strip the wallpaper in just this room after removing the panelling. Worth it? Honestly, who knows 😂 (joking, it was worth it ❤️)
From a perfect day this summer for @jessundecided and Travis 🌿 Fun/cute story - when I started my blog 5 years ago Jess was the very first person who I didn’t know to follow me on Instagram and the first that I followed too. I was so happy to be a part of her beautiful wedding this year! Planning by @vowandco Photography by @picjager Featured in @weddingbellsmag
Hanging with my bestie in our fave spot 🐈 Speaking of my lil bestie, he pretty much tries to destroy any piece of upholstered furniture we bring into the house 😩Cat people, is there anything that has worked for you to get your cat to stop scratching evvvverything!?!

It’s been 3 weeks of living in our house now and so far we love it here! Before we moved in I did a small kitchen makeover. We are planning to do a new kitchen in another room in the house in a year or so (at which time this room will be fully renovated because the ceiling is in very bad shape and I think there are some original floors hiding under that linoleum!) but we wanted to make this current kitchen feel fresh and clean for our use in the meantime. Simple changes like swapping out hardware, painting the cupboards and walls, adding these cute tangerine decals from @urbanwalls, and bringing in a few new pieces of furniture have made this space feel welcoming, clean, and functional...just what we wanted! You guys, I even attempted to make a video of the process 🙈 link is in my profile and there is a blog post on what we did too 🤗
