Welcome back, Nursery!
What an exciting start to our new adventure!
This week, our little explorers have been getting to know our new class name — Antarctica-John David Map and beginning to discover this fascinating, icy world!
From penguins and polar animals, to exploring ice, water and snow, our children have been learning through hands-on, messy and meaningful play.
We have been scooping, pouring, mark-making, creating, exploring and wondering as we begin our journey to Antarctica!

🐝 What a fabulous start to ‘big school’ our Reception children have had! 🐝

They’ve loved meeting their new friends, exploring their classroom and getting stuck into their learning from the moment they walked through the door. We’ve already seen such a wonderful zest for learning! ✨

Our little learners have particularly loved discovering all about our new class name, Three Waggle Dance Map. They’ve practised their very own waggle and round dances, learnt how bees communicate through movement and even crafted their own brilliant bumble bees! 🐝🌼

What a wonderful start to their Reception journey - we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings! 💛

Year 4 have settled wonderfully into their new class and routines. We’ve been having lots of fun with maths games and practising our times tables along the way. What a fantastic start to the year.
