We loved visiting three shops today, to buy rations using the coupons in our ration books. We are learning about WW2 and this helped us understand how rationing worked during this time. #WW2 #rationing

Mariana Trench class loved forest school this week. We made mobiles out of materials we found in pocket park and we also made habitats for a variety of animals that we found. We loved this and left with a huge sparkle in our eye and a smile on our face. π²π³ποΈπΈπ»

Kuril-Kamchatka class have been busy learning about the Jewish festival of Rosh Hashanah! We did this by sharing the typical meal eaten on this day: pomegranate seeds that represent the 613 commandments; Challah bread that symbolizes the circle of life, and apple and honey to represent a sweet new year! ππ―π₯

Tonga class were in shock today when they found dinosaur footprints and a nest with an egg in their classroom! The children had a chance to investigate the egg and predict who the mystery dinosaur was. Most children guessed T-Rex. Do you agree?

We had a very informative day with @benkinsellatrust, learning all about the consequences of making poor choices around knives. The workshop was interesting, and it made us think deeply. This will help us flourish as individuals as we go into the next stages of our education in secondary school.
