Last week, Year 5 & 6 had an informative session with @facefronttheatre to build on our learning with @solacewomensaid. We discussed domestic violence, linking with what we speak about in our sessions with Marcella. Face Front Theatre were impressed with the emotional maturity of our children, which made us proud.

Pure joy from our Year 6 class yesterday at forest school. We had a huge smile on our faces, despite the rain and mud. We found frogs in pocket park, as well as worms and centipedes, and enjoyed collecting these and then returning them to their habitat. πΈπͺ±ππ³π²

We loved @nspcc_official #NumberDay2025. We dressed up in a number theme and had a whole school @tt_rockstars tournament, which we flourished at. Well done to all our children for their creativity and zest for learning! βββπ°βοΈ

We love our time in first school and feel refreshed and happy after. Yesterday, we learnt to use a sheath knife, which is a useful tool for carving wood. We made pegs so we could put a shelter up in pocket park. We had a big sparkle in our eye!

We loved visiting three shops today, to buy rations using the coupons in our ration books. We are learning about WW2 and this helped us understand how rationing worked during this time. #WW2 #rationing

Mariana Trench class loved forest school this week. We made mobiles out of materials we found in pocket park and we also made habitats for a variety of animals that we found. We loved this and left with a huge sparkle in our eye and a smile on our face. π²π³ποΈπΈπ»

Kuril-Kamchatka class have been busy learning about the Jewish festival of Rosh Hashanah! We did this by sharing the typical meal eaten on this day: pomegranate seeds that represent the 613 commandments; Challah bread that symbolizes the circle of life, and apple and honey to represent a sweet new year! ππ―π₯
