We are artists! Year 3 had a great time creating William Morris inspired prints today. We went to pocket park to do some observational sketching, created our own designs and then used polystyrene and ink to print them. To finish off, we stitched our very own appliqués onto them! A real success we think🖌️🧑‍🎨🎨

Y2 are sculptors! We studied how movement is conveyed in circus and performer artwork and played around with making different movements with pipe cleaner stick men, then created our own standing clay sculptures! Look at how brilliantly they turned out 🗿🗽✨

We are more than bricks and mortar… Laurentian Abyss Class taking in all the sights of The National Portrait Gallery to link our History Unit of The Two Queens Elizabeth. We then strolled past Trafalgar Square, down Whitehall to the Royal Horse Guards and through to St James Park and TheMall. Finally, we stumbled across Buckingham Palace (which many of us hadn’t seen before)and made our way to Green Park Tube to return to school! What a brilliant day! @ldbslat @nationalportraitgallery @buckinghampalace_official
