Reception had an absolute blast in Forest School this week. They went on a bear hunt, through the long grass, the dark gloomy forest, the river, a wild leaf storm and into the cave. They had such a sparkle in their eyes ✨🌳🍁

Year 3 visited @visitlambethpalace yesterday to participate in the ‘Travelling Crib’ put on by @wintershallplay . The Nativity story was bought to life by travelling around the palace and listening to the different parts of the story. Thank you @wintershallplay for an amazing and thoughtful start to Advent.

Year 6 had another busy week. They worked very hard and should be proud of themselves. In English they have shared lots of interesting information they have learnt about Wolves by writing a non - chronological report. In maths they completed past SATs papers. As scientists they collected leaves from the local area in order to identify their characteristics and classify the appropriate tree. In RE they had a fascinating discussion about the sacrament of marriage. As artists they drew 3D perspectives using a horizon line and vanishing point. They also celebrated Black History Month (BHM) by researching an inspirational black person, presenting their research and making posters for the Holy Trinity BHM display. They will also be presenting how the person they researched has inspired them.

Year 1 have been learning about Pablo Picasso and his unique Cubist style. They had lots of fun using shapes, colours, and bold lines to create imaginative self-portraits inspired by his artwork.

Enheduanna Class loved visiting the @britishmuseum to deepen our learning of Anglo-Saxon history, especially observing the amazing artefacts and relics from Sutton Hoo. We definitely left with a sparkle in our eyes and a smile on our faces. #ldbslat #learningwithoutlimitations
