A little glimpse into my 52nd BirthDay world… It's been a sweet day of love cards from my husband and son. My husband got me some sex toys (which I asked for) + some chocolate. TMI? oh well. This is 52. And if you know me, you’ll know I love sharing some of the real stuff. But I’ll also keep the details private unless I see you live, then I’ll share it all. We went to Moxie Bread and ate yummy sandwiches outside in the sun. Then a trip to the mall and I think we found our new couch and kitchen table. We're getting ready to revamp our main room and even paint the walls turquoise because we all need brighter colors in our lives. My mom stopped by to wish me a happy birthday. We chatted outside & air hugged from 6 feet away. I did some laundry because my son's sheets needed attention and I'm a mom, oh yes I am. I also found his tv remote too because only mom's can find it. I made a long massage appointment for Tuesday and teared up after I made the appointment. My body is so terribly achy these days. I got on my new teal yoga mat that arrived today, perfect timing, and did some stretching. It's a many times a day stretching adventure these days to counteract the aches. Meanwhile, my Art of Money 2021 community opened on the 1st and my Art of Money team and alumni guides are beautifully guiding the new community. I'm so grateful for this next level phase of my work in the world. I have an incredible team helping me oversee everything right now and it's an amazing place to be. Usually, on my birthday, I am in an intense-about-to-launch phase and today it is not that. I'm not launching anymore, ever. My program is evergreen and folks can join and sign up as they are ready. And, I'll get to keep creating new content and giving in so many other ways. A few adjustments in the biz model can make such a huge energetic difference. It’s always a little odd that my birthday is right at the beginning of the new year but also really cool for me. I’m not a New Year's resolution gal. I’m more of a small shifts add up to a big leap. Thank you for being a part of my world and community. We’ll have sushi for dinner and call it a very good day. #birthday #52ndbirthday

I love when my husband makes a fire. Today’s the perfect day to stare at the fire, take some time to reflect, appreciate everything and do a little visioning for the new year. #fire #newyearseve

Oh I got a good 4 inches cut off + layers added. This is next morning bed head but it’s so much better. I was heading into full hippy mama hair again and it was feeling too unruly and driving me crazy. Heading into my 52nd birthday in a few days like this... #selfie #haircut

I’m watching a lot of family photos being shared, especially matching pajama photos! While my family is probably never going to do the pajama photo, I’m still hoping we’ll get a current photo soon. My guys are resisting, especially the 12 year old. But our hair stylist is coming to our house to give us all haircuts and color my husbands hair in a few days. Yes my younger husband gets his hair colored but I don’t! Ha. So until then, here’s a few older family photos. 1. Trip to Santa Cruz, Cali. We were at the beach exploring the tide pools. And visiting the town where we used to live and where our boy was conceived. 2. On the roof of an Earthship we used to visit in Taos, New Mexico a few times a year. We love the desert and almost bought the Earthship but decided to stay in Boulder. 3. On a trip to Jamaica. We were on a boat going snorkeling for the first time. Being under the water and seeing the coral reef was so surprising to me that I had a full laughing attack when we all surfaced and after a few moments everyone was hysterically laughing with me for a long time. Hope to share a new photo soon when my family can get it together. Until then, I’m sending some holiday love to you all. #family #selfie #holiday #love #happyholidays #happyholiday #myfamily #tb

I’ve been bringing my neighbors a slice of whatever I’ve been baking for a little while now. Today I brought my neighbor a slice of my warm chicken pot pie. She handed me a box of ginger snap cookies that she made + a cat toy that she sewed. The other day I brought extra limes to another neighbor and she handed me a slice of birthday cake that she had baked. I’m really digging this. Originally I just started bringing extra slices to share with neighbors and now they are giving me a gift in return. This was not happening like this before the pandemic (in either direction). But I also wasn’t baking or cooking pre-pandemic either so there’s that. I’m grateful for the simplicity and connection of this is and will continue... #gifteconomy
