Another favorite from the archives: There were many happy tears as Kyle and Monica (@wild.honey.turquoise) shared their sweet vows surrounded by the towering mission walls of the ancient Quarai Ruins. This stunning couple, along with their family and friends, were a dream to work with and it was a day filled with beautiful details, heartfelt love-letters and joyous laughter.
I love finding meaningful touches throughout a wedding day. Like this boutonnière locket handmade by the bride containing photos of the grooms grandparents.
So I just realized...while this photo has made a dozen rounds on instagram and featured on every other account...I've never actually shared it to MY newsfeed. So here we are. Elsie in her @doubledwestern wedding boots.

It's officially wedding season in this part of the world and usually I'm running around like a madwoman keeping up with it all. But not this year. I took a season of rest. So on a day I'd usually be burning up the pavement or editing on a plane...I went back and looked at some of my favorite photos captured in the last (almost) ten years of being in business as a photographer. And I pulled a few to re-share.
My favorite transformations are when old barns turn into stunning wedding reception areas. The kind that are...on any other day...full of hay, cats, equipment and crap.
