If you would have asked me 6 months ago if I would be able to spontaneously take a trip with my girls on a Monday, I would have laughed at you. There would have been no way that I could just “rearrange” a few things because I didn’t have any flexibility. I felt stuck in more ways than one. Even In that season, though, these girls showed up. They’ve been with me every step of the way and I can’t even begin to describe how incredibly thankful I am for them. We laugh together (swipe 👉🏻😂), work together, & support each other’s businesses as if they were our own. I can count on them, and they can count on me. This kind of friendship doesn’t come around very often, so I’m holding on and not letting go! Love you guys to pieces (even though you commandeer my stories.. I’ll get back at you some day haha!)

It’s wedding day for Dylan & Kinzie!!! I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for so long, and for so many reasons. It’s going to be a joyous celebration filled with so many good friends. I love photographing weddings with familiar faces ❤️ ⠀ ⠀ Plus JESUS GAVE US SUN!!!! I was worried it would be cloudy all day? And so far, there isn’t a cloud in sight ☀️
The Lord has been so incredibly faithful this year, I can’t even begin to describe it. After all of the huge life changes this year, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in years. Actually, I’m the most filled with joy I’ve been in years. ⠀ ⠀ There’s a difference between those two things - happiness and joy. Happiness is a feeling while joy is a state of being. You can choose to be filled with joy even on the most sorrowful of days. Growing up, my family had so many Christmas traditions. One of my favorites that has carried on over the years is our travel ornaments. Every time we go to a new destination, we always bring home an ornament as a souvenir. At my parents house, we have an entire tree that we’ve dubbed our travel tree that’s dedicated just to those ornaments. I don’t quite have enough travel ornaments to fill my tree, but of all the ornaments on my tree, those are my favorite (👉🏻 especially my hand painted ornament from Florence 😍) I’d love to hear about your favorite Christmas tradition! ❤️
Missing Daisy a little extra these days! Poor thing had to have surgery yesterday so if you could say a few extra prayers for her I would so appreciate it! Is anyone else a dog lover on here?? I don’t know about you, but I can’t imagine my life without miss Daisy! Hopefully once she’s all better she’ll be able to come on vacation to my house 🤗
