One year ago, I walked out of my 9-5 job and never looked back. And goodness, what a crazy, sweet, challenging & incredible year it has been! ⠀ ⠀ Within the last year, I rebranded, created a new website, hosted 2 in-person workshops & launched an online shop with @michellejoyphoto, created a senior experience with a new in-person sales business model, served 30+ couples and countless other portrait clients, and so much more. It’s honestly been a whirlwind but I’m so incredibly thankful for it 💕⠀ ⠀ When the Lord was telling me to take a leap of faith last year, he certainly knew all the amazing things he had in store for me & KLP. Not only was I trusting him with my business, but also my life. I’ve made new friends, gained an incredible boyfriend, and found a new church home all since pursuing KLP full time and it all wouldn’t be where it is today had I not taken the leap. ⠀ ⠀ It’s funny how life just works out beautifully when we give it back to our creator. Here’s to the next year & praying that the Lord will do even bigger & better things ❤️ although this year will certainly be hard to top! Picture by the sweet @amandaeloisephotography 💕
Thankful ❤️ in the midst of all the crazy it’s so easy to forget about the things that are most important. I challenge you this weekend to list out the top 3 people you are grateful for & then actually go and tell them!
Today deserves a celebration because KLP TURNS FOUR!!!! ⠀ ⠀ It’s crazy to think that when I started this business I had a goal of simply making back enough money to pay for my camera. Which honestly at the time was like $700 😂 I had no intention of being a wedding photographer, I had no intention of being a full time #bossbabe, and had absolutely no clue what I was getting myself into. ⠀ ⠀ Was it worth it? 1,000% YES!! Has it been difficult? You bet, & probably way more than you actually know. Has it been amazing? Better than I ever could have imagined. 🥰⠀ ⠀ This passion of mine has taken me places I never thought I’d be & created a spirit in me that I love so incredibly much. I get to love and serve my clients while doing something I love, and it doesn’t get much better than that ☺️ The Lord has provided in so many more ways than I can count & I cannot wait to see what he does next. ⠀ ⠀ CHEERS to four years! Here’s to year #5 being the best year yet 🎉 picture by the sweet @amandaeloisephotography 💕 ⠀
Is it just me or are the leaves changing color much later this year? I remember this time last year photographing beautiful fall sessions full of alll the color. ⠀ ⠀ The way things are panning out, it looks like I’m going to have availability during the last week of October for a senior session or two! We were all so scared to book something that late in the season with the fear that all the leaves would have fallen but FEAR NOT! It appears they will still be hanging and hopefully hanging a little brighter & more colorful 🍂 😂⠀ ⠀ If you’re interested in snagging a fall session, DM me and I’ll share my availability!
I’ve been doing so many seniors lately it feels like you all have forgotten that I still do weddings 😂⠀ ⠀ Anyway, @michellejoyphoto & I have a few new products coming to the shop this year, and the first one has a lot to do with this picture and the way it was taken! Any guesses?? ⠀ ⠀ Reception images don’t have to be scary 🙃
My stories have 4 senior sessions worth of sneak peeks on them right now 😅 guess I’ve been busy in the last 24 hours haha! ⠀ ⠀ I always love Franklin Park Conservatory and today did not disappoint! Loved exploring the gardens with these two. 💕
