• We're nearing one year of our sweet Evelyn. Wasn't it yesterday when I felt those slight flutters of her for the first time? It's unfair how time can steal away her littleness so quickly, but we're so excited to celebrate how much we've all grown together since that terrifying and beautiful day we welcomed her into our arms! Motherhood has pushed me in every way imaginable- it's been so, so hard.   • Late last night as I was rocking this little one, I was feeling a bit of guilt over the fact that I haven't posted anything on my Instagram feed in almost five months. Almost instantly as soon as that thought crossed my mind, I was reminded that these sweet quiet moments are so very fleeting, and I shouldn't feel any guilt for setting aside something that takes my attention away from my most important job right now.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When I'm feeding her, I want to let her hand wrap around my fingers, rather than my fingers be wrapped around my phone. When she looks up at me as we're cuddling, I want her to see me looking at her, not me looking at a screen. I don't want to worry about curating my images and scheduling posts. I want to soak up all of these things my heart had long ached for- the feeling of her tiny fingers tickling my sides, the sound of her breath slowing as she drifts to sleep, and the unbelievable softness of her cheeks that won't be this chubby forever.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So friends... sorry, not sorry. I love the connections that this platform can bring, and the inspiration you all provide, but for now my time is hers. I'm sure I'll still pop in every so often during naps, and post some updates in my stories, but it may be a while before you see anything new in our feed. Pregnancy has definitely been an adventure, but I’m honestly ready to be done with it all and meet our little girl! ⠀

Lately I've only been keeping up with the have to do items, and haven't had much time for the should do soon or the would like to do matters. It was so refreshing to be able to dive into some of those behind the scenes projects that have been waiting on the back burner.
