"Can I learn to love myself AND lose weight? I want both..." Raise your hand if this is YOU! *cue everyone raising their hand* True story: Sometimes I see old pictures of myself in a smaller, leaner body & wonder what life would be like if I could have THAT body AND be living this life of freedom & joy. (yup, I have these thoughts too!) I fantasize about it for a moment... I'd be seen as more attractive to more people... Maybe I'd even get a really attractive partner... I'd look more like the people wearing the clothes in advertisements... I'd have a flatter tummy... and then I realize... These things would not add REAL VALUE to my life. Things that add REAL VALUE (for me): -Deep relationships with people I love -Relationships that value connection over conventional physical attraction -Living in alignment with my values -Having integrity -PLAYING -Being a part of something bigger Now, let me be clear, you are the expert of you. I will NEVER claim to know you better than you know you. You choose your values, not me. But I DO teach you the skills to know yourself better...instead of just trying to "fit in better".
