Impostor Syndrome... something I'm familiar with for sure! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The biggest struggle I faced when I started working as a freelance designer was to get out of my own way and overcome the dreaded impostor syndrome. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Since I didn’t have a degree to back up what I wanted to do, I felt I just couldn’t do it. It took me a long time to actually say ‘I’m a graphic designer’ out loud. I felt as if I wasn’t allowed to do this without something to back me up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I realized that all I needed was my creativity and the ability to learn by pushing forward. I had the resources to learn all I needed and soon clients were interested in working together, so it was happening! Since then I've learned to trust in my creativity and who I am. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↓ Comment YES if you have experienced the dreaded impostor syndrome.

It's been a while now since I transferred my website from WordPress to @showit and one of the questions I get asked a lot by my clients is what makes this platform my favorite. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ◦ Showit allows you to take full control of the design of your website, which is honestly a dream come true for me. You can easily create different layouts for each page, add galleries, icons, colors, and different fonts with your branding in mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ◦ This is the platform I use for my client projects and they absolutely love it as well because it's so easy to keep updated and add more information when they need to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ♡ Do you have any questions about how to choose the right website platform for you? I'm currently working on a new project that I'm so excited about! I will share more details and the final branding very soon, but for now, here's a sneak peek of one of the ideas for the logo design. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↓ Can you guess what this brand is about?
How can you make sure you use your brand visuals correctly after a branding? Well, that's when a brand guide comes in handy! And it's something I love creating for my clients after each branding project. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ◦ It's a document that usually includes all the details about your brand - your color palette with different color codes to use on web and print material, how to use your primary logo and alternate designs, the names of the fonts so you can download them to your computer, patterns, the size of your print material, files formats... every.single.detail! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ◦ This should help you use your designs when you need to and do it without being something overwhelming, which is the ultimate goal, right? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ♡ Have any questions about how to use a brand guide for your business? Share in the comments! I would love to give you some tips.
Even though most of your business presence may happen online, that doesn't mean you can't have beautiful print material to enhance your brand. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Using business cards is always a great way to make the right first impression. Imagine you are at a networking event with other business owners and creatives, or if you ship your product to your customers, you can always use a professional and stylish card to share your business details. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ↓ Do you use business cards for your brand?
