We are almost ready with the new web design for @jakemanandgreen and I honestly can't wait to share with you the final result! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In the meantime, here's another view at their alternate logo, which is one of my favorite designs.
When it comes to staying organized as a business owner, having a project management system in place is key to making your life easier. From all the platforms available out there, @asana has been my secret weapon for a while now... well, not so secret anymore. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love that it has so many different features that you can use. From organizing client projects to daily tasks you need to complete, it's truly an amazing platform. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How do you get organized? Do you use a specific app or system? Let me know in the comments!
It's always fun to create logo variations for a client. Here's a quick tip on how to make the most of your design: play around with the different colors from your palette and apply them to your logo depending on the background and place you are planning on using it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For example, my client Elizabeth from @well.equipt is using a lighter variation as her profile photo, which is a great option for Instagram.
Is branding important? Do you really need a logo if you are a small business owner? Yes and yes my friend! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here's the thing, a logo is way more than just a graphic. It's a way of standing out from the crowd, how a business can be recognized and remembered, a way of connecting with customers and communicating a specific message. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I truly believe in the importance of having a cohesive brand, not only because it looks beautiful, but it also allows you to focus on doing what you love - whether that's selling specific products or providing a service - knowing that you have a professional brand that will attract your ideal customers.
As part of my branding packages, I like to include patterns design for my clients to use on print material, social media, or even websites. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ To create a modern and simple style, and to enhance the brand colors, this design for Celina Body was all about the logo.
Something I'm trying to be more aware of this year is to take breaks when it's necessary. When I'm working on a branding or web design projects sometimes hours can go by and I don't get up from my chair. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Even when I feel stuck I feel the need to keep going until I reach the final results. This is not ideal at all! Just 10 minutes to regroup and get inspired can be enough to avoid burnout.
