It's summer! It's summer! It's summer! 🍉 Remember when it felt like we would never leave our houses again and summertime was an eternity away? Travel is picking up! Sure, there are new protocols in place, and maybe a few things feel like inconveniences. But this is our new normal, at least for awhile. So grab a mask and let's plan a trip! Where do you want to go? Mexico? Iceland? Italy? If traveling this year is not your thing, it's a great time to start planning for next year. NOTHING is better than having a great trip to look forward to!
Imagine gathering your friends and family for a gorgeous wedding on the Beach in Bali. Spend a week together exploring the rice paddies, the waterfalls, the monkeys, the beaches, the temples, the volcanos . . . all of it with your favorite people! Don't leave planning your destination wedding to chance.
As I've watched the world both crumble and come together in the last few weeks, I've thought much about how travel and exploration are important parts of our growth as human beings. It's easy to get caught up in our own world but our world isn't just the little space around us, it's a big, wide, and glorious world that we should explore. The more we go out, let our guard and our pre-conceived notions down . . . and open our hearts to receive the gift of understanding and acceptance of those whose lives are different, the better we become. And we might even become friends. Thank you, Maya Angelou. You knew the secret.
