  • 🛑 YOU ARE NOT ALONE
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We might only have this small corner of the internet with you, but we see you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These times can feel especially isolating in a lot of different ways, but please know that your worth does not belong to your feelings.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You are strong.
You are important.
You are seen.
You are valued.
You are one of a kind.
You are needed + wanted.
You are loved.
You are not alone.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And even though it doesn’t feel like it right now, every little thing will be alright.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No rain, no rainbow 🌈

  • Be brave enough to start conversations that actually matter.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s been a substantial increase in social media usage since the COVID-19 Pandemic started. A whopping 61% over normal - and continuing to rise.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Human connection has been limited, and for a good reason, but have we lost touch with intentionality in our relationships?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We challenge you to:
STOP the never ending scroll of Facebook arguments, Instagram post that put you into the comparison trap, and twitter battles that take your time and energy.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
SEE the need around you (even if it’s not geographically close) - looking into your community and see what needs done, look into your family and see where a need is, look into your friendships and see where encouragement is yearned for.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And use your ABILITIES + RESOURCES to fight isolation. It doesn’t have to be a lot. This might look like sending a text, writing a letter, asking to get coffee, showing up for someone who needs to be loved on.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Be brave enough to step out. To show up. To start the hard conversation. To not stop at “I’m okay.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We can do better than this. Together 🤟🏼🤍

  • I think we can all agree we’ve had to fight through overwhelming life changes the past few months.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Distressing experiences can cause emotional and psychological trauma. The experience might be a terrible one-off event or an ongoing series of stressful events. Either way, the effect can be deeply harmful. It’s been proven that events like what’s happening in our country can bring forth depression and anxiety.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s ok to mourn things, it’s ok to be down, but if depression is telling you to do something that isolates you, fight that. You are not meant to do life alone.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can still rise. We believe in you. 🤍

  • Cpl. Savannah Burbank embodies what our mission is about - “do what you can, where you are, with what you have.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She has made it a priority to spread hope regardless of what it looks like. She knows the importance of making sure that everyone knows that they matter. 🤍 We are so grateful for her service, her commitment, and the way she loves people.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you know someone who serves, please reach out and check on them. The war never stops for them, even when their boots hit American ground again. PTSD, anxiety, and depression are a few struggles, among many, that these brave men and woman face.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I don’t know about you, but I want to change the fact that 22 veterans commit suicide everyday.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I want to make sure that the 90% of soldiers returning from overseas struggling with their mental health receive help.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Did you know that more active duty service members, 177, succumbed to suicide in 2019 than were killed in combat, 176? I don’t want a repeat of that.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These men and woman are the some of the strongest people we will ever know, but even they need a “hey. I know it’s been tough year, want to get lunch and take a breather.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
To all the brave ones out there, thank you from all of us here. We will never turn a blind eye to your sacrifice 🇺🇸
