The summit of Mount Aubrey on the East Coast of Northland there is a fantastic loop walk up the mountain to the summit then down the other side to a coastal walk that takes you around the base of the mountain and follows the ocean side back to the carpark the views at the top are stunning, this peak is climbable but only for experienced trampers.

Taheke Waterfalls Northland New Zealand, these falls are Northland's highest at 46 m there is a lookout at the very top of the drop which gives you a great view down the valley below but there is no access to the base of the waterfall we needed to make our way through dense bush and climb a tree to get this shot.
