Two of Grier’s Equestrians were lucky to compete at the very famous Devon Horse Show and Country Fair.
The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is the oldest and largest outdoor multi breed horse show in the United States where riders from all around the world come to compete!

Hazel P. put in some great rounds in the Dover Saddlery/USEF Hunter Seat Medal as well as the ASPCA Maclay Horsemanship with Jimena F’s “Fidelina Z”.

Jimena F. competed in the $1,500 1.10m Junior Jumpers where she had a clear round and also competed in the $11,500 NAL/WIHS 1.15m Junior Jumper Classic where she and Grier School’s “Cadeau JH” brought home a 3rd place finish! Incredible!

Way to go girls! We are so proud! 💚🐴💛

And the little yellow hearts of the Ginko leaves.
I’m from small lit candles,
And circles of white dresses.
From faculty and friends.
I am from lending a hand,
and doing a favor.
From the clip-clop of a horse’s hooves,
And the swish of a dancer’s tule.
I am from the joy of life-long friendships,
And a family of hundreds.
From our eternal song of praise.
I’m from the orange arms of a fall fire.
I am from green and gold.
From Lodge lawn with big stary nights
As far as the eye can see.

St Christopher’s “AA” at Swan Lake Stables

Hazel P. was 1st in the MHSA Junior Equitation on the Flat as well as the IHSA/USHJA 3’3” Hunt Seat Medal aboard Jimena F. “FidelinaZ”.

Jimena F. won the $250 1.10m Junior Jumper aboard Grier’s “Cadeau JH”.
The pair was also Reserve Champion of the 1.10m Junior Jumper division.

Fernanda V. won a round of the 0.8m Jumpers aboard Grier’s “Quadrant 3”.

Natalie T. won the $200 3’3” Small Junior Hunter Under Saddle aboard her own “Exclusive”.

Anleigh A., Class of ‘25, was Champion of the 1.30m Junior/Amateur Jumper Division with Grier’s “Crack D’La Rousserie”.

Aurelia A. also won Best Low Child Rider award!

Blue Rock Classic “AA” at Swan Lake Stables:

Olivia L. was Champion of the Children’s Hunter division aboard Grier School’s “Myle Hi”.
Olivia was also crowned Best Child Rider on a Horse!

Alexandra B. was Reserve Champion of the Large 3’3” Junior Hunter Division with Grier’s “Snowcloud”.

Natalie T. and her very own “Exclusive” won a trip of the $450 3’3” Small Junior Hunters.

Hazel P. and Jimena F’s “Fidelina Z” took the win in the MHSA Junior Equitation on the Flat out of 15 riders!

Anleigh A., Class of ‘25, was Champion of the 1.30m Junior/Amateur Jumper Division even winning the $5,000 1.35m Jr/Am Jumper Classic with Grier’s “Crack D’ La Rousserie”.

Samantha W. won the overall Sportsmanship Award!
