Dr. Findley and his juvenile red-tailed hawk!

Dr. Findley is a registered falconer and he trains the birds he catches to hunt with him. He caught this specimen a few weeks ago and is gradually acclimating him to being handled. He explained to our girls that young birds of prey have a very low survival rate and during their time with him they enjoy good food and a safe place to roost. No Name, as he’s being called temporarily, will be given a name after his first catch as is the tradition of falconers.

Former Grier girl, Randi Chylinski ’09, and her Borzoi, Ziggy, participated in the National Dog Show this year in Oaks, PA. The show airs today at noon EST on NBC, right after the Macy’s Parade. Their homemade Thanksgiving dinner costume, crafted mostly from second-hand items, was a big hit with both the crowd and fellow exhibitors. Grier Summer is a one-of-a-kind camp experience, give your camper a summer to remember! 🌸☀️

Grier School is keen to surpass last summer’s record breaking enrollment numbers. Come and get Grier Summer’s Early Registration special before December 1st and receive a 10% discount!

We will be offering three, one-week sessions for both day campers (ages 7-17) and boarding campers (9-17). Campers are welcome to attend up to all three!
Week 1 (July 5 – 11)
Week 2 (July 12 – 18)
Week 3 (July 19 – 25)

Campers will be able to sign up for 4 daily activity periods which will include options like art, baking, dance, drama, music, riding, swimming, and more! Campers can also take advantage of one of the Intensive Programs we offer in Art, Dance, and Riding!

Our Grier School Equestrian team had an awesome IEA Dressage double-header weekend, hosted by Grier School! 💚🐴💛

Starting off the weekend on a great start with Champion High School and Reserve Champion Middle School! High Point rider was Quinn M. with Reserve High Point was Nina R. Horse of the Day was Grier School’s Bob.
On Sunday, our High School earned Champion Team and Reserve Champion Middle School Team. High School High Point Champion was Cali G. and Reserve Champion High Point was Meagan K. Middle School Reserve High Point Champion was Samantha W. Finnley S. earned Sportsmanship. Horse of the Day was Khozmo.
