You made this small business shed lots of happy tears. I put in another order this week to restock and will be adding new styles and colors for fall and Christmas.     This time last week I was preparing for the @rebelmagnoliafleamarket You honestly blew me away from the support you gave my tshirts, sweatshirts and stickers!! You made this small business shed lots of happy tears. I put in another order this week to restock and will be adding new styles and colors for fall and Christmas.   • I’ve been a little too expensive for myself lately. . Anyone else? Realizing this year - that less is more, I’m not quite sure my spending habits are reflecting this philosophy. I’m curious what have you deemed essential for yourself in 2020? . I think for me October needs to be a no spending month. I’ve tried to get ahead this year. I’ve purchased sweatshirts for possible pop-ups, I have a ton of ornaments arriving to handletter. Then I looked at my credit card statement and thought ... yikes, I might need a third job 🤣 Is it just me?!

  • Small steps every day. . Life isn’t easy. It’s overwhelming most days. I had a little break down this morning. It’s an endless list in my head. I wake up in the middle of the night to write out lists of things I might have forgotten. There just aren’t enough hours in the day. From the moment I wake up, to the moment I sleep I’m working and still not caught up. I feel as if I’m failing people. I feel as if I’m failing myself. . I regret breaks because I feel like I could accomplish more in that time. I have to reprogram my entire way of thinking. I rolled on some stress away and tried to move on from my ugly tears. It’s okay to have a break down and then keep going. Small steps every day, friends. I try to make lists of things I’ve already completed as well as things left to complete. We make progress even when it doesn’t feel obvious. You might feel like you are failing right now, but you are not.   • Keep fighting for human connection in an age of algorithms. . The best thing I’ve done for myself this year has been taking breaks from social media. I’m proud of myself every time my iPhone tells me I’m down on social media usage. . You know what’s nicer than obsessing over posts, followers, likes .. etc — having real conversations with friends, in person coffee dates or wine dates via zoom.
