Morning done - off to the girls’ first soccer game. You’d think after doing this sport-mom thing for the longest time, I would have invested into one of those large umbrella things to block the sun. 😫😂 At least there’s a cool(ish) breeze, but I’m pretty sure my toes and the tops of my feet are going to be fried before this game is over. #camdensoccer #camdenpenguins #camdencountysoccer #girlsofsoccer #soccerchicks #soccermom #stillnotgonnadriveaminivan
Well if this isn’t just the cutest thing I’ve seen, I don’t know what is! Noah and the Lions are at the 2019 Jamboree today! 🥰🏈 And I’m down in Jax with Danny at his allergy appointment. 😫 The allergist worked some magic and got him in for testing and whatnot rather quickly after last week’s ER visit for anaphylactic shock from the fire ants. 😬 And then later today? The girl’s first soccer game! Remember when Saturday’s were for Netflix marathons and sleeping in? Ah, the good ol’ days. 😂
Today I had the honor of photographing a Chief pinning ceremony for the USS TENNESSEE SSBN-734 (G) down at the St. Marys Submarine Museum. It was incredible to witness and an honor to be part of! #chiefseason #chiefpinning #navychief #navychiefnavypride #stmarys #kingsbay #submariners #gonavy
Noah has his first scrimmage tonight, first time officially on the field as QB, and they fought a tough game ... and won! Noah even scored his first touchdown! 🎉 Super proud of him, proud of the team - everyone played hard tonight on both teams. 🏈 #georgiafootball #georgiayouthfootball #kingslandlions #camdencountyfootball #footballmom #football
Nearly a year ago, Randy and I flew out to NYC to photograph a wedding. I'll be honest, I was scared to fly into New York - for all the obvious reasons, even though it's been nearly 2 decades since 9/11. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The very first thing we did after we checked into our hotel was go to the Memorial. We went at night, and sat there and took it all in - the sights, the sounds, the lights, the eery beauty of One World Trade Center. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The next morning, we came back to see it in the daylight it stretched on to the heavens, so high up I couldn't even see it in the cloud coverage. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Humbled. Patriotic. Amazed. Inspired. Resilient. Strong. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I felt all the things. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you've never had the opportunity to go see the Memorial site for yourself, I strongly encourage you to go and experience it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #September11th #NeverForget #NYPD #NYFD #18years #NewYorkCity #NYC #911memorial #oneworldtradecenter #Manhattan #greatestcityonearth
Hi, my name is Ashley and I’m a 35 year old mom of four, married to my just-out-of-high-school sweetheart. I’m obsessed with dogs (in fact I have five right now) and if I had it my way, coffee would always be in my hand and pizza would be calorie free. So what’s the point in me being here? I just want to make people laugh. I want to inspire everyone I meet to become better versions of themselves. I want to share my stories you know you’re not alone. I want to share my love of photography and Color Street and marketing with you. It’s all here, in one happy little slice of social media pizza. 🍕 No matter how you came to find me, I hope you love being here as much as I love having you here!
Something I’ve been craving and praying for is a friend and a community of women that I can see in person. I have such an incredible tribe of friends around the world (and I love you all for it 🐘) but over the last few years, my in person community has really dwindled. So I’ve prayed. I’ve wished. I’ve hoped. I’ve dreamed. Then I met Melissa a couple of weeks after moving here ( @pearlswithmelissa ) and it immediately was like this fresh, deep breath of relief. I found someone who I share so much in common with - we both have disabled veterans as husbands, we have lived in the same places, we made very similar mistakes earlier in life, we even like the same kind of ice cream mixed together (green mint chip ice cream and rocky road). It’s like ... almost freaky how much we have in common. 😂 During our first outing together, she invited me to come to her church @christschurchcamden and turns out - we were already attending. And then through that invitation, I’ve been volunteering my time with their Instagram and social media, and that’s been the biggest blessing. So when Melissa asked me to join her women’s group, of course I knew I had to join. Tonight was our first meeting, and I can already feel my prayers being answered. It’s been so long since I’ve been in a room with a group of women that felt like a 2 hour long hug. It’s funny how God knows exactly what the soul needs, and how He puts people in your life that can seriously be angels on earth. I’m so, so grateful for tonight, for Melissa, for these women and for the blessings I can feel coming on the horizon. 🙏 #christschurchcamden #womensgroup #feelingsoblessed #tribeofwomen #answeredprayers #stmarysga
It’s finally happened, Danny is officially taller than Randy. Who the heck gave this kid permission to grow up, because I sure as heck didn’t! 😐 Wasn’t he just playing with hot wheels and now here he is, a month away from turning 17 and working to buy his own car. 😫 Also, I just realized we took one family photo two weeks ago, I had thought we would do it every week on Sundays and I remembered we haven’t done it since I said we would. 😂 I’m the literal worst. 😂 But hey, at least I got a picture of these two knuckleheads together. 🤷♀️
