As I drove off from tonight’s engagement session, I remembered exactly why I love this job so much... a precious couple, so incredibly in love with each other, on land that’s been in her family for over a hundred years... 💛 The laughs were constant and my face hurts from smiling. So thankful.
I think every photographer in the south has been watching the weather since Monday, and for a minute I really thought these portraits weren’t going to happen... but in the middle of a tropical storm, the clouds split and THE SUN CAME OUT. Alden + Kameron are one of my favorite couples to date, and today was perfect for them. Cheers to forever - rain or shine!✨ #walkerdowntheaisle

Here’s to a joyful Thursday.✨
I prayed over these walls, rooms, beams, doors and even floors for months, and tonight we walked out for the last time. This time, I pray that the sweet couple who follows us laughs, cries and grows together as much as we did within these walls. There’s something different about your first home. I know there are quite a few more to come (#contractorswife), but this one... this one will always be extra special.✨
“All my life You have been faithful, and all my life You have been so, so good...” Those verses have been stuck in my head for a couple of days and I keep finding myself singing it (very out of tune😂). This morning, Seth and I went for a walk and as I was singing it, he said, “you know, we are so blessed to be able to do things like this.” Why in the WORLD Kayla + Donnie decided to fly little ‘ole South GA me out to Colorado (not only for their wedding, but for an engagement session too) is beyond my comprehension. I LOVE my couples, and I LOVE my job. The end of the song says, “With every breath that I am able, I’m gonna sing of the goodness of God.” And that is exactly what I plan to do. 💛
