Advice to underclassmen: “My four years being a part of the Godley Band, I have learned so many things. If I to pick the number one thing that band has taught me is that it taught me about being a leader to others. Being drum major for two years has really shown me how much dedication and determination it takes to lead a whole band. Band has been a big part of my life and I am so grateful that I got to experience all of it. Some advice I would like to leave with the underclassmen is don’t give up, I know it sounds corny to say that, but it is so true. If you want something, then go get it and don’t give up.
