Amazing win for our Aztecs tonight playing Nevada! #goaztecs!
Shoutout to our wonderful student Kevin Krick who’s busy at work finalizing original music and putting final editing touches to the new podcast we have been cooking up at the @kpbs studios. Stay tuned! Coming to a podcast player near you the first week of March! #communication #podcast #vision #innovation
Exciting shout out to @sdsucoe’s Dean Barry Chung who just joined Instagram to keep us informed on all things College of Education. I’m a big fan of using all forms of communication, including social media, to connect with our wonderful students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Join me in welcoming and following Dr. @ybarrychung.
Student Services and our very own Asha Jones have been working tirelessly to bring this wonderful event to fruition. ## Get connected at this local SDSU Resource Fair and enjoy free gospel music featuring choirs from throughout San Diego. This experience showcases the bond between SDSU and the San Diego community as we continue our celebration of Black History Month. Click the link in the bio to learn more! Repost @sdsualumni ・・・
It was a pleasure and delight to finally meet the legendary Father Joe Carroll. He’s a testament to the power of vision, compassionate leadership, and unwavering ethical innovation in service to a worthy calling. If you haven’t heard of Father Joe, he is a beloved San Diego hero who has dedicated his life to ending homelessness one life, one act of kindness, and one innovative and courageous step at the time. He’s the visionary behind the Joan Kroc Center, Father Joe’s Villages, and other programs that provide services to those in need. An amazing role model. #compassion #leadership #vision #innovation #rolemodel
Today I’d like to give a shoutout to one of our scholar athletes, Darren Hall, a sophomore who is majoring in Communications. Thank you Darren for your leadership on our campus, on and off the field, and for sharing a bit about yourself to help us continue celebrating Black History Month :: Favorite person in black history: Jackie Robinson, because he is from Pasadena the same city as me and broke the barrier for African Americans in professional sports :: What you think SDSU has done to help African American Students: They have given us a resource center and a place for other African Americans to feel comfortable and meet up and discuss controversial topics or anything on our minds. :: What have you done to create black history here at #sdsu? I am in the process of trying to create history on the football field however just trying to be a part of something greater and leave my mark here at San Diego State on and off the field. A role model? A person I really look up to is my father because he defied the odds stacked up against him and broke many generational curses that might’ve plagued my family and started something new and taught me what it means to be a man. :: #leadership #blackhistorymonth
Big shoutout to our Aztecs for their win tonight! #goaztecs
It was great welcoming so many members of our SDSU and San Diego communities for today’s 10th annual SDSU Leadership Summit. Leading With Heart is the theme and I hope it will make an impact as we take principles learned to our respective circles of influence. #leadership #influence
As we continue to imagine the future SDSU stadium, we will glean from others who’ve gone before us. This week I had the opportunity to tour LAFC Soccer Club (Banc of California stadium), Canvas Stadium, and the Coliseum renovation.
